Crazy good place. At the right distance from Tropea (2 minutes of car), it's just perfect to easily reach this jewel village without being stuck in the tourist chaos. The residence is at 100 meters from a cliff which offers a beautiful view of the sea, especially at the sunset. A short trekking path leads you down in 5 minutes, to one of the best beaches I've ever seen. Water is so cristal clean that it looks like a pool. Also a nice beach to do a bit of snorkeling. Domenica and Romero are simply amazing hosts and always do everything they can to make you feel at home. From a little chat at breakfast, to leading you to the best places in the region, they literally couldn't do more for us. If you want to try some real Italian grandma-level kitchen just ask them where to go and you won't regret it. Also, they are very professional and curated to perfection all the details of their beautiful residence. I can assure that it will be hard to leave this place. It was for us and for sure we will be back :D

I loved this place. The room always was clean, they always change the towels. The bedding smelled good, the shower it was hot. The breakfast was fresh and the place is wonderful ( in front of the beach, its terrific view). The people there are simpatic, very friendly

Very good stay. We did not have a car so it is a bit far from main centre if you don't have a car But it is well connected with small taxi which you can call and they arrive in 5-10 mins. With these taxis you can reach the city centre easily. If you have a car, then it is a perfect place with ample parking also.

The staff is the friendliest and kindest. Breakfast is great and it combines with the view from the terrace. The location is perfect if you have a car, it's quiet and a few minutes away from Tropea's center. The pool is also perfect and enjoyable!

We had a pleasant stay at Villa D'Aquino. The location of the villa was perfect for us- not far away from Tropea, but quiet and close to a beautiful beach. The owners are nice people, they gave us some recommendations of best places to eat and we didn't regret it. The breakfast was really good, with a variety of salty and sweet assortments and they all were delicious

For us, a hanger in the room and a shelf in the shower would have been helpful

This hotel is without question an exceptional option for anyone visiting Tropea. The rooms were very clean, very comfortable and the furnishings are beautiful. The staff is extremely friendly and very helpful. I will certainly come back sometime in the future to stay with these folks! Breakfast is second to none with a wide variety of offerings! Lovely!

Definitely recommend Villa D'Aquino for everyone! Fantastic service, delicious breakfasts, rooms cleaned daily, unforgettable view of beautiful sunsets near the Stromboli volcano. Amazing! In addition, one of the most wonderful beaches is so close to the accommodation. You can use the pool and relax on a sun lounger. The distance from Villa D'Aquino to the center of Tropea is only 30minutes via a safe pedestrian road. There is no problem with getting there by car (a few minutes), and you can park there without any problem (parking is paid, but not everywhere, it depends on the place).

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this lovely bed and breakfast in Italy. From the moment I arrived, the host was extremely kind and accommodating. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious breakfast that was included each morning. The food was fresh, tasty, and filling. I especially enjoyed the local pastries and coffee. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Italy. The location is perfect, the host is wonderful, and the accommodations are top-notch. I can't wait to go back!

Great hotel for a few nights and would also recommend for a longer stay as the premises were super clean and the view, although a bit of a walk from the ocean was worth it.

We misunderstood the explanations for beach access. It was quite an adventure to climb down the cliff to access it and quite further than anticipated. Children and elderly people should not attempt to do it, I feel it would be a self-hazard.

Excellent location with sea view and away from busy Tropea. You can still walk there in the evening. Lovely converted villa with small pool. We had a small but comfortable room. It was in the corner of the first floor overlooking the sea. The owners are super nice and helpful.

The room was next to the breakfast area and the service started pretty early so you can hear this in the room.

The location was breathtaking. The villa itself was lovely as well with a gorgeous and clean pool. Our room was amazing the bed was extremely comfortable.

A very small point: our room did not have a kettle and cups to make a late night tea. I knew how far it was from the town but probably would be better to have a car to visit. Else a Tuk-Tuk Taxi into town is €10. We walked to town and back each day but that's not for everyone. If you do stay here ask the owner to arrange for a pick up from the station to the villa when you arrive. We saw no taxis or buses the whole time we were there.

Beautiful villa a short drive from tropea. We saw spectacular sunsets over stromboli and watched horses graze, right in our backyard. We had the room on the ground floor and it actually worked better than being on the top floor with sea views, as we had immediate access to the pool. Very good value for money

There's nothing not to like. If I were to make 2 small recommendations it would be to provide maps/info about the place and surroundings, and to possibly include glasses to drink out of in the room

Dominica and her husband are wonderful hosts. We only stayed for one night. The location was easy to find with our Satnav, set back from the beach and very peaceful. It is within a short driving distance of the local supermarket and restaurants around and about. The pool was easy to access and great to cool off in. Our ground floor room had access to two terraces. It was large with a huge, comfortable king sized bed. Both the room and bathroom were very clean with lots of towels. There was a small fridge to cool drinks. Air conditioning was very effective and included in the price. I’m not a fan of Italian cake for breakfast but there was a good selection of ham, salami, cheese and fruit to choose from so no complaints there. The sunset over the sea was beautiful.

Had we stayed longer we would have liked the addition of tea and coffee making facilities.

The location is very good - right next to the ocean (with a short walk down a cliff) to the beautiful, though very crowded beach. The swimming pool at the B&B was such a great place to be after some very warm days. The breakfasts were exceptional with the host making three different home-made cakes each day to compliment the rest of the delicious breakfast foods. The cleanliness of the B&B was spotless and the bed very comfy. There was ample space for free parking. We appreciated the fact that the location was close to the main centre of Tropea, yet just far out enough to be tucked down a quiet lane and away from all the crowded areas of Tropea. We appreciated the B&B as a great place to radiate out from each day into the beautiful, unspoilt and quiet countryside that surrounds Tropea, and equally a great place to come back to for either a siesta or at the end of the day. We would highly recommend booking in advance for this accommodation - to especially ask for a room with a balcony (unfortunately we did not have one), but the rooms with large balconies would make for much more living space and also great views over the magnificent sea. This is a place we would be so happy to return to again.

To make this place even better we believe it would be nice if the hosts placed tea/coffee facilities in each room. It would also be useful to have more than one peg to hang towels up on. The water pressure in the shower was poor and on one occasion the water was cold. It would also be good to have two chairs in the room to sit on, rather than just one. But really these are just minor things.

Our stay here was great! Everyone was very friendly, the food was great, location was perfect! the scenery from the Villa was wonderful! Can't complain! we loved it here!! Our stay here was not far from the center, easily accessible to get to several beaches nearby.

Great accommodation. The rooms are not particularly modern, however they are very clean and comfortable. Safe private parking. The walk into town takes about 30 minutes. It’s very quiet there and a nice beach in short walking distance. Breakfast was great as well. We really enjoyed our stay there

Everything was perfect!! Me and my friends we went for a little holidays, and everything was perfect, the hosts are very nice and super helpful.
