Night one we sat out on the deck and just stared at the stars - AMAZING! Every morning was coffee on the deck while watching the boats enjoying the lake and the hummingbirds. It is an easy drive to Silverthorn for food, shopping and fun. We highly recommend staying here!

A great place if you're looking for a secluded getaway from the hustle of the city and loads of tourists. Nice centralized location to get to almost everything about an hour away including RMNP, Breckenridge, Vail, and Mt Evans. Owners very responsive.

We had a very nice 4th of July weekend. Your home is cozy and had everything we needed. It was a short drive to lower cataract lake where we could hike and kayak. We had very friendly service at the marina renting a pontoon boat. Thank you for sharing your home.

Loved this cabin! The photos in the listing are spot on. So tastefully decorated! Super friendly and easy communication with our hosts. Lovely scenery. Quiet, serene get away. Planned this trip to have some down town. Exceeded our expectation. Close to fishing, horseback riding, restaurants, etc. Hope to stay here again snd again.

We spent Valentines Day weekend at this property. Incredible views of Green Mountain Res., just 20 minute drive out of Dillon, and about 45 minutes from Breckenridge. Fire place added a calming touch.

Lovely cabin to escape the crowds and noise of the city! Went to ski and almost didn't go skiing because the cabin was just so cozy! Did end up enjoying a few days at Breck! Nice to not deal with I 70 traffic :) Highly recommend. Special place!

My husband and I loved staying at this beautiful cabin! The view was amazing, and we appreciated the stocked kitchen.

The breathtaking views that greet you the moment you open the door set the stage for an amazing stay. Everything was lovely: the bed is very comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped, and to top it all off, the mountains had a slight dusting of snow on our last night—a big treat for Texans in mid-august!!!!

We really enjoyed the cabin and view. Very pretty and comfortable. Lots of deer close and elk herd and eagles down the road.

This rental offers a great view and comfortable furnishings. Enjoyed the grill and well stocked kitchen. Only downside was no A/C which we could have used in July in the afternoons but with windows open and fans going it was pleasant enough. Location is good for treking out on hikes. Would recommend and would definitely stay here again.

It doesn’t get much better than this! We have stayed at many VRBO homes and this is one of the best! Extremely comfortable, open layout, great decor, well stocked and last but not least- an incredible view of the lake! We started and ended each day on the porch looking at the lake and mountains. (And the view can be seen throughout the main living space!) Very attentive owners and a quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. Hope to be back next summer!

I stayed here with my brother and my daughter for two nights. The cabin served as a jumping point for our rafting trip down the Colorado - my daughters first experience on a raft and with a fly rod. We all had a terrific time. Everything about the cabin and owners was terrific. Place was clean and cozy, neighbors were incredibly nice and friendly, and the surrounding area was easy to navigate/ park in. 10/10 on every front. Just down the highway crowds are teeming around the malls, off season slopes, etc.Heeney lazes by the lake. Our deck high up the hill from the shore provided a great view of "the action " below, the family boaters and fishermen. Quiet and friendly retreat. Be sure to checkout Cataract Lake for amazing flora.

The cabin in Heeney is an absolute gem. The VRBO is extremely clean, spacious, cozy, and had all the essentials for a short or long stay. My girlfriend and I stayed here for about a week and a half working remotely and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The location is stunning - tucked away on Green Mountain just north of Silverthorne (~30 minute drive), this picturesque cabin overlooks Blue River. At night, the stars are glistening until the bright moon peaks out and lights up the entire landscape. The VRBO has a fireplace and the hosts provide ample firewood for you to truly gain a cabin experience. Since we were there in the winter, if it were to snow, the property manager is out there right away shoveling the driveway and parts of the roads. It’s very quiet at night and provides some reprieve from the hustle of the ski towns surrounding it. Getting into and out of town was very easy. Hosts description is accurate - if you’re traveling during the winter months, you definitely need a 4WD or some mid sized SUV to get around. The internet, while a little choppy at times, was good enough for two people working remotely. The hosts were also incredible! Autumn was very responsive, accommodating, flexible when we needed it, and catered to any request we had in a prompt manner. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and we can’t thank the hosts enough for such a magical experience. All in all, we’d stay here again in a heart beat.

We loved spending a few days off the beaten path in lovely Heeney. The cabin was perfect size for our family of four (5 including the dog). Silverthone is just 25 minutes away, and very accessible if need be.

We had a fantastic week in the mountains at this quaint waterside cabin! The view was absolutely lovely, beds comfortable, and everything you need is provided in the event you forgot something. We especially loved the fireplace. Sunrise and sunset views were spectacular! Thank you - we are planning on coming back for a summertime visit!

We loved our time at this lovely little cabin! Beds were super comfy, the view is amazing, and the kitchen is well-stocked with all the bits and bobs you need to cook for yourself. The wood burning fireplace is also a big plus. So cozy! Working with Autumn was a complete delight. Roads closed due to bad weather while we were en route to the cabin, and Autumn was super responsive in helping us find an alternative way up there. Thanks for everything, Autumn! We'll definitely be back.

The pictures do not do this place justice! We were glad to be so close to great hiking, rafting, and more. The house is clean and well appointed. The view from the deck and through the east windows was incredibly calming. We could have spent weeks more just watching the birds, wind, and light play on the water. We will definitely be back!

This cabin was amazing! Very clean and up to date. Kitchen had everything I needed. The views were absolutely spectacular from the deck, not to mention the beautiful scenery along Heeney Road on the way in. Great communication from hosts and extremely accommodating! They even sent me a ton of information on local hiking spots and Jeep trails. Can’t wait to visit again! :)

The cabin was very well appointed with items to make our stay comfortable. The cabin was very clean and cozy. We thoroughly enjoyed the deck and spent most of our time enjoying the lake and mountain view. Star gazing at night was spellbounding!

This house was perfect for our getaway to the mountains. Close to Silverthorne and Dillon but far enough away to feel secluded. The home is cozy and had everything we needed. We had a great time and recommend this house to anyone looking.

My family and I had a lovely time here! The cottage is beautifully decorated and was very clean. Beds were extremely comfortable. We really enjoyed being so close to the lake...the view was spectacular! It was an added bonus to be within 10 minutes drive to an amazing family/dog friendly trail: Lower Cataract Lake & Falls.
