I went to use the gym once but my card couldn’t access the room. They were very busy at reception when I went to report it so didn’t worry about getting it rectified

Staff, room and breakfast were all lovely.

A gym and pool would be great :)

Value for money

The free breakfast was quite good. We were able to check in a little early which was greatly appreciated.

No on-site parking available when we arrived. We parked in the street with no issues.

The whole parking fiasco situation. No bacon at breakfast. Only 3 hot choices for breakfast.

The room was clean, dark and quiet to sleep in.

I paid for parking and couldn't get a spot when we first arrived, we were told that others who haven't paid park there as well. The breakfast was awful, on my booking I said gluten free and there were no options available, I had to ask someone to at least get a bowl of cereal, the milk was not Soy milk so I couldn't eat anything except for an orange - I paid for breakfast and couldn't have any. My husband said the eggs were watery and the sausages were unappetising.

Adequate breakfast options and carparking was very accessible even in my larger ute!

Nothing was found to dislike in holidayinn Express Hotel.

Location was ideal. Nice and quiet. Parking easy although expensive.

Bed was uncomfortable. No top sheet was odd. Room heating wouldn't go above 21 degrees. It was cold in the room and didn't warm up.

Love the green concept of the hotel.

Affordable place in the city. Area is very quiet and calm, away from the noisy parts of the city and busy roads. Has nearby tram and train station for commute. Big shopping centre right next door which was convenient.
