One of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever had. It's an "a la carte" breakfast, where you order whatever is on the menu, all the times you want. From fluffy omelettes to salmon bagel, a plate of cheeses, grilled vegetables and also an array of seeds and coffee. The room was very spacious, stylish, and very comfortable. Huge bathroom. Amazing location, right at Gran Vía.

Nothing! if I want to be picky, the price, although this was the cheapest option in Madrid centre. So, in a way, considering what's around in terms of price, this was actually a good deal, at least in the night I stayed in Madrid.

The entrance is non-descript, hard to locate. Most of the rooms have limited sunlight/ views . The air-conditioning system is erratic.

The hotel and staff were lovely. The room was comfortable and quiet (we had requested this) and even though the hotel is on a busy street we never heard anything. We booked breakfast at the time of booking our accommodation after reading the fabulous reviews and they were spot on. There was plenty of choice on the breakfast menu and everything is served at your table (no buffet which I didn't miss and all cooked fresh). Great coffee too! I liked the back room where they served breakfast as it was cozy and welcoming. The location is very central to everything in Madrid.

There was nothing about this hotel that we did not like and we would easily stay here again without any hesitation. The only point I would make is that the hand/bath towels could have been thicker - possibly needing replaced.

Hervorragende Lage zum Erkunden der Stadt zu Fuß. Die oftmals geäußerte Kritik bzgl. " zu laut " oder " zu dunkel" kann ich nicht teilen. Hatte Zimmer im 2.Stock ( also nicht besonders hoch ) nach vorne zur Straße. Diese war allenfalls als gelegentlich leichtes Rauschen zu hören. Extrem leise AC - bin lärmempfindlich und schalte sie nachts sonst aus ; das war hier unnötig. Sehr nette Rooftop-Bar; aufmerksamer Service.

Desde que entras por la puerta te envuelve una atmósfera especial y el personal es la parte más importante de esta sensación. Tuve la estancia más inesperadamente alucinante! Gracias por hacer un pre-cumple de tan especial con un upgrade inesperado y muy valorado!

El servicio fue perfecto, y no encantó particularmente el desayuno a la carta con su horario extendido.

The staff at the hotel are a huge asset to the business, so friendly, helpful and genuinely lovely to deal with. The location was an excellent base to explore Madrid with plentiful transport links within a short walking distance of the hotel. Breakfast was a good choice and no issue ordering whatever was required off the menu. The roof top bar was a hidden gem and a very lovely space to while away some time. We had a minor maintenance issue in the room with a poor draining shower which was immediately and efficiently resolved and the nice touch of the card being left by the staff member as we were out when they called was a reassurance that the issue had been dealt with.

My minor quibble was whilst I loved the toiletries in the room, some hair conditioner and body lotion would be fab, as we had to go and buy some as it was an assumption that they would be provided.

Absolutely lovely design of the lobby and bar area in my favourite green shades. Extremely helpful staff. Very nice a La carte breakfast that is available until 2pm! My favorite place was the rooftop bar in the evenings. The location is very convenient - main sites in 10-15 minutes walk.

The design of the rooms is a bit modest. I was offered to upgrade our room to the Tower Room with a roof terrace for 22 euro/night. But the terrace was nothing special, and the only plant there has died quite long ago. No point to pay more.

The rooftop is the best part. But everything was great.
