We had a really nice stay at Casa Gio, the staff there are lovely and went out of their way to help us. For the price it’s a really good accomodation.

Big room with lots of space and comfortable beds. Access to kitchen with lots of cooking utensils. Drinking water available. Collection from pier in tuk tuk. Helped us organise a scooter. Lovely staff.

No hot water in the shower and the bathroom is very small but that is probably to be expected on an island.

We had the nicest stay of our 1 month trip to Nicaragua in Casa de Gio. We loved our air conditioned room and the great breakfast, but most of all it was the exceptional family who ran this great hostel that made all the difference. Couldn't recommend it more for groups, couples, or solo travellers.

The room was nice and big, property had a nice garden with plenty of hammocks to lay in. when the electricity worked the fan in the room was very good. the price was affordable.

talking in the common area echoed loudly into our room at night, the staff was nice, but seemed a little dismissive of us since we only stayed one night and didn’t explain about buses or food or anything.

Really nice place. Location is great, central but quiet. We were upgraded to an AC room which was lovely. They helped us get a scooter and plan things.

Shower pressure was a bit low, hard to find anything to complain about especially.

we really enjoyed our stay at casa gio. The rooms are super clean and the staff is really friendly. Always ready to help if you have questions. A big plus was the fully equipped kitchen we could use. definitely would recommend the place!

It's a wonderful place to stay, tucked away from the main street, quiet and cozy but still very central. You can easily get to ferry terminal, supermarket, local shops and restaurants. The place itself is lovely. It's like a mini paradise with lots of greenery, many hammocks and tables and chairs on veranda by your room. We originally booked for 2 nights but ended up staying for 5 nights and would have loved to stay longer. There is a fully equipped kitchen, so we could cook and even make smoothies. Unlimited filtered water, space in the fridge to cool off delicious watermelons, lots of rocking chairs too. The hosts keep the place very clean, did our laundry and helped to arrange trips as there is lots to see and do in Ometepe. A home away from home. Loved it!

Very nice, lots of places to relax, filter water, good kitchen. The hosts are very helpful with getting scooter etc.
