Die Lage am Kanal und im Universitätsviertel ist sehr schön.
Die Ausstattung war mir ein bisschen zu frugal. Ein Handtuchhalter neben dem Waschbecken und eine Ablage für Shampoo etc. in der Dusche wären angenehm.
Die Küchenecke war sehr eng bemessen. Es konnte immer nur eine der beiden mobilen Kochplatten konnte auf einmal benutzt werden. Platziert oben auf der Mikrowelle.

Lovely comfortable bed.

Straight walk by the river into town.
Noise: people trooping up and down the stairs past my room at all hours and disturbing my sleep. At the very least carpet on the stairs -any kind, doesn't need to be expensive - would help muffle the noise. I had no peace and felt rattled by the feeling of being in a station or similar. So many people needing to get up and leave at the crack of dawn??!
Never again.
Didn't use kitchen apparatus as it was so much effort humping it in and out of cupboards (microwave, folded cooker hot plate thing).

It was clean and so nice studio. It has a lot of equipment inside the studio. The location is so nice and near all public transportation. Also, the host was so friendly and helped me a lot. I like this place a lot
The only things were stairs. My baggage was heavy and fortunately a gentleman helped me.

The studio is small, but has everything you need. Very clean.
The ladder to the upper floor has very narrow slats, so climbing it is quite a challenge for the elderly.

The rooms are cosy, simple, small, practical and beautifully styled (linen sheets!). They have everything you need. It is very close to the frequent buses from train station. The walk into the centre is stunning and helps give the feel for the city. The staff are so incredibly helpful and generous with their time - we had wonderful advice and help when hiring our kayaks from Edville. That kayaking trip (from the jetty outside the front door) was an absolute highlight of our backpacking trip so far. We paddled right through the city, up to the castle, under bridges, through tunnels. Brilliant change from exploring a city on foot.

We liked the location and the heating was good. The bed was very comfortable.
Firstly the shower was still dirty and dripping throughout the stay. When booking, the comforts listed stated that we would have a river view, which we did not have; it did not change the experience but would have been nice to know. The gate code given on the keys was incorrect.

I liked the place and how it was clean. The staff was also nice. We rented two kayaks from Edville and I really recommend it.
I didn't like that the kayak is self service since it could be dangerous for some people to take the kayak and put it in the water alone. Even though there are some explanatory videos but I felt that we needed some assitance putting and taking back the kayak in place. However, the experience was really nice. One more thing, there was a problem with the wifi but it was rapidly fixed.
There is no TV.

no hood in the toilet, excessive requirements of the owners for the conditions of leaving the apartment (it was necessary to remove bed linen, dry and fold the dishes) and all this before 10 am.

Convenient, price was right. They suggested a good parking garage a few blocks away, easy 9 minute walk. There was room to pull up and drop off passengers and bags.

Property very good. However the problem was that on our floor, all three other rooms were rented out to a large group of youth from germany, who made a lot of noise and loud music night and day.

The host was very friendly, efficient and accommodating and so was the lady that received us. The place was well equipped, comfortable and super clean. Security was good. We will most definitely recommend to others and also stay there again if we go to Belgium again. Thank you for allowing us to use your lovely accommodation.
There was nothing not to like. We were completely satisfied.

Room was large, bed was comfortable. Had a kitchenette so good for long term stays
Shower was small with a plastic curtain that kept clinging to your body.also the drain was partly plugged as water kept rising over my feet. Hotel was hard to find e cause of street layout, but passerby were helpful. Also no tv.

Great location, comfortable rooms. Kitchen was pretty well stocked with utensils and other useful items
Slight error on the website where an oven was mentioned however this was meant to be microwave oven, hosts made good efforts to make it up to us though. Rooms were in decent condition, door vent was missing from one of the bathrooms but this didn't cause any issues.

Decent location by Overpoortstraat and 20mins ish walk to city centre. Bed was good and clean. They gave us enough duvets and pillows for 3 people.
We booked a standard studio. The page on booking.com said the room has 3 beds but one of these is actually a small mattress on the floor.
Very basic room. It's not an apartment it's a room with a sink. The supplementary duvets and pillows were a bit stained. It was ok just not very good. It did the job for 2 nights.
They also ask you to clean everything and take the rubbish out which is a bit odd.
Also I am not convinced all of the reviews on booking.com for this property are genuine reviews as they are using standard photos, not their own.

It was clean and comfortable and the location was fabulous for walking along the river to the city and museums
The room smelled of stale smoke. The acoustics meant you heard every noise from people coming in and out and talking on the stairwell. The front gate and front door were never locked

Good communication regarding key lockbox. The facilities were topnotch and comfortable.
The staircase was somewhat shallow, and the lights didn't always come on or stay on long enough to use the key, though this is quite minor.

Very dirty rooms at check-in... Dirty and bloody bedsheets, shower. It was dissapointing.

Heating works very well, important for cold winter days. Bed was quite comfy.
It was quite noisy, in the building with people walking by and the fridge compressor running. We were missing the beautiful view over the city that is depicted in the profile picture.

Check in was straightforward and easy. There were storage lockers that cost 5 euros for the day to store our luggage while waiting to check in. The room was large, we had the bedroom on a mezzanine type floor and a balcony. The ladder up to the mezzanine was quite steep, older people may struggle to climb this! Everything was clean and pleasantly decorated. We did not use the kitchen as there were plenty of eateries nearby.
There was a distinct smell of sewage throughout the building that came from the bathroom. The room was fine when the bathroom door was closed but it was not particularly pleasant when in the bathroom!

there were markets nearby in 200 m and the bus connections are very good.
