Excelente ubicación, a metros de cala galdana, zona tranquila. A favor del hospedaje; nuestro check in era a las 15 hs, nuestro avión llegó a las 10hs y nos dejó entrar antes.

Para empezar la propietaria ni siquiera vino a entregarnos el apartamento, no lo encontrabamos (los carteles estaban mal) y le tuve que enviar un mensaje para que por favor viniera a guiarnos, si no fuera por eso, ni siquiera nos viene a recibir. Para empezar, el departamento no tiene wifi y supuestamente la cocina funcionaba, al llegar, notamos que el horno no funcionaba, al reclamarle a la propietaria nos indicó que el horno no iba y que no lo tocaramos para no evitar problemas electricos. La zona donde estaba ubicado el apartamento muy linda y muy comoda para ir a la playa, pero por contra está al lado de un río el cual larga un olor putrefacto y que hace muy dificil la estadía con semejante olor nauseabundo, tuvimos que dormir con todo cerrado ya que el olor lo hacía inaguantable. Al finalizar nuestra estadía, la propietaria nos hizo pagar una "tasa vacacional" de 17,50 euros; lo que me llamó la atención no es que me cobren la tasa (soy conciente que en lugares turísticos es así) si no que me lo cobren si o si en efectivo, sin dar una factura ni ningún comprobante de ello. Entiendo que será una manera de trincar más dinero a los turistas y alguna que otra manera de evitar los impuestos correspondientes; por eso el énfasis en cobrar en efectivo. No recomiendo este lugar; se nota claramente que es de esos lugares que aprovechan su buena ubicación pero que solamente les interesa brindar un servicio mínimo(y malo) y cobrar el mayor dinero posible. No reservad por buscar precio; ya que al final lo barato sale caro.

The only good side was the beach at walking distance.

Very disappointing experience at Cala Galdana apartment. We had to leave and book a hotel the next day after not being able to rest and sleep as the aircon wasn't working so we boiled in there and also due to the tremendous noise next door. The apartment was totally outdated, we didn't find the basic soap and shower gel or some kitchen roll at least, the kitchen sponge disgustingly dirty, the cups all stained, the cutlery rusty and sticky, old yellow towels, hair and dirt in the bathroom's corners. Dirty fridge, no coffee machine and the coffee places were opening at 11am. They didn't inform us about the key place and we had to find it ourselves somewhere hidden. The lady in charge with the apartment was using google translate to communicate and even so when we told her about the missing soap she came back with some shower gel on a bottom of a bottle. We told the owner that we left and the reasons and he said that the aircon is new and working and we didn't know how to use it but it was showing an error code and when looked online it was about filter cleaning. He also said that it's always noisy in the apartments, so he can't do anything about it and the apartment is nice and clean. He suggested to have ourselves moved in another apartment he owns but we've already found a hotel with breakfast and pool at a better price, 2 minutes away a better beach, way cleaner and the water clear and beautiful turquoise colour. I just asked to have the tourist fee returned since we had to pay it twice and not a pound back from the accommodation even when we were pretty entitled to, he replied yes and then he deleted the message and never heard from him since. So this is how I paid a 5 star hotel price for this experience in total and had to learn a lesson out of it.

The apartment was damp and smelled very musty. The oven didn't work and on arrival the TV was also broken (although this was replaced for us). The listing, when we booked, promised WiFi but there wasn't any at the apartment.

What scared us off in Minorca was the prices of the apartments. However we found this house, which is a normal house, I would even say a real house, not one of those places crafted for tourists, but a normal house that a friend of yours could lend it over. The town was perfect, small but with restaurants and supermarkets. probably the place where the locals are nicer... everywhere else seamed like they didn't like tourists.

Everything was great actually

We loved the location, kitchen, beds, and front patio. The host was really helpful with giving us rides when we needed it! There was also a beach umbrella included which was awesome.

The washer didn't work and it was difficult to keep the bathroom clean because there were no rugs on the ground. The bathroom also consistently had a funky smell

- amazing location: it was a little bit hard to find the place but the location is amazing.. near everything - amazing host: Ivan sent us a message on whatsapp confirming the location, he was super helpful and friendly - There was everything that you need: complete kitchen, towels, place to dry clothes outside. Everything very good.

Cala Galdana is a great place offering most wonderful beaches

We got very noisy neighbors for the 3 nights in the row, surprisingly it was just a "shouting family" with very badly behaving children, but was really hard. And we are family with boys so we thought we can be noisy. Nothing in comparison with that one. It is difficult to say if they just rented the flat in the next building or its theirs....

Ivan is the best:) Friendly, ready to help, easy to access and in-time (not regular option for Spain:) Nice location - very quiet, the same time restaurants, grocery, car rent, parking, beach - all are in few minutes walk only
