This beautiful home was perfect for our family. We had dinner on the lanai each evening, played outdoor games in the spacious yard, and board games around the big table after dark. We walked across to the beach every single night to enjoy an amazing sunset. We loved the North Shore location. Easy access to surf lessons with Uncle Bryan, paddleboarding on the Haleiwa river with a rental from Blue Planet Adventure Co., snorkeling at Three Tables and scuba diving with North Shore Dive Shop at Shark's Cove. We were pleasantly surprised to find beach chairs that we could carry across the street to Sunset Beach with us. We spent a day in the Waimea Valley enjoying botanical gardens, cultural activities and the waterfall. Admission to the Valley came with our package to the incredible Toa Luau, which was a highlight of our trip. Waimea Bay beach was beautiful clear water for swimming. In Haleiwa we enjoyed snow cones at Matsumoto's and a stop at MacNuts to sample macadamia nuts and there happened to be live music. As mentioned by others, Ted's bakery was excellent. Don't miss a stop at Dole when driving back to Honolulu to get some delicious Dole Whip. Four bedrooms and four bathrooms gave our whole party of 8 all the space we needed.

We loved our stay here. As a multi generation family trip, this house has something for all ages. Our highlight was the upstairs screened in deck. We lived out there! It caught the cool trade winds on a hot day and was the most peaceful spot to read a book when the rain came.

is perfect location for Northshore experience, a private driveway just far enough off Kam Hwy to escape the road noise. The sounds at night are like you are miles into the jungle but you still hear the ocean waves at Sunset Beach. You get to Walk with boards to the surf , breakfast at Sunrise Shack or The Elephant Truck - no need to drive and park !! So much room everyone can have a spot to relax, beds are great, kitchen is great - we will rent again when we come back !

We had a big group of family and friends, we had space for everyone!!! Enjoyed the screened patio and just relaxing!! Easy walk to Sunset Beach and of course Ted's Bakery!! Loved seeing all the wildlife and listening to the birds in the morning!! Can't wait to come back again!!!

Wunderschönes grosszügiges Haus im kolonial Stil, sehr geräumig, stilvoll eingerichtet mit Liebe zum Detail. Der riesige Garten ist fantastisch, sehr gepflegt und trotzdem natürlich wild! Lädt zum verweilen und relaxen ein. Der Weg zum Strand ist sehr kurz (80 m), die Bucht hat glasklares Wasser, für Erfrischung und Sonnenbad perfekt! Für Familien mit kleinen oder grossen Kindern sehr geeignet. Wir kommen wieder!

Overall my family of had a good stay. There is plenty of room for everyone to hang out as a group and play board games, which are provided, or be on their own if desired. The house is clean and comes with almost anything you could need including some beach supplies(coolers, chairs and kid toys)so look around before you go buy or rent. The outdoor shower is great not only to remove sand but also for a great outdoor shower. The yard allows for plenty of space for the kids to run around and play. The property has beautiful tress every where. A few times we got to see the pigs come out of the bush and into the yard to eat the fallen mangos and run away which everyone got a kick out of. As great as this property is there are a couple of things that stop it from being absolutely perfect. The bath towels that were provided in the house had a bad stench to them. Even after 2 washes the smell remained, defiantly time to replace them. The second thing is the lack of A/C. While I do understand this is a rural island area and the structures are old and there is a island breeze, A/C would be a great touch that would make this house perfect. The owner/host do provide enough fans to go around along with ceiling fans in each room. However fans and open windows did not cut it on some nights. On a couple of nights the heat prevented anyone from getting any sleep or sitting in the house and relaxing. This issue gets worse if anyone in your group is sensitive to heat for long periods of time. If you want to be on the north shore and desire something other than the large hotels and shops of Waikiki, this is a great hose for families and groups in a great location near great beaches and food.

Property is located in great section of North shore area. Just a few minutes walk to Sunset beach and close to other beaches that you can snorkel and more. Local food trucks, shopping at nearby Haleiwa and much more. House had plenty of room for everyone to spread out and although we unfortunately had several appliances go bad, manager Cathy was quick in responding and sending people to make repairs.

Exceeded our expectations, and they were super high already! Lots of time to hang out on the porches. The grounds are beautiful. Waking up to the sound of birds. Down the driveway to the beach. We’re hoping to come back!

This house and it’s amazing location on the North Shore truly made our Hawaiian holiday. Two families, total of 9 guests with 5 children had plenty of space to either spread out or come together for meals etc. The amazing yards meant the kids could run, explore and play whenever we were home. It was a wonderful base to see all things North Shore. The walk down the driveway to Sunset Beach just the icing on the cake. Cathy was professional and her communication regarding all areas of our stay was spot on. Highly recommended staying here.

We held our sons wedding here. It was a beautiful venue. The home was perfect for our family. We gathered for meals on the deck, help our photo session on the property, and spent every morning and evening watching the sunrise and sunset at the beach....just a two minute walk down the drive way. Our family enjoyed the nearby food options and could not have been happier with our stay. A lifetime of family relationships began here.

This house is absolutely magical! The pictures don’t do it justice it’s that beautiful ❤️ Right across from the ocean! We stayed here for a week with my whole family and I’m so glad we picked this house. Cathy is also super easy to communicate with! This house was amazing and truly made our trip!! We stayed in this home for ten days as a family of 9 - and the location could not have been more perfect for relaxation. Coffee nearby - teds bakery down the street and a huge yard where our kids threw a football and enjoyed the weather. The verandas on the home are paradise - everything was perfect and exquisitely clean. The beds and bedding were amazing and the outdoor shower took it to the next level.

Ok, this is the place to bring the family, room for kids, space for adults, and a solid location. The house is equipped with everything you need to relax, cook, and enjoy. The master suite feels like a real master suite with privacy and a private outdoor shower. The yard was amazing with lush jungle vegetation just beyond the manicured landscape. Location, Location, Location... the end of the driveway is the beginning of sunset beach. I can tell you within a two-minute walk you can have a bonzi bowl or sip a delicious coffee. Ted's is 2 minutes drive and sharks cove maybe 5 minutes. Very central location, our property manager Cathy was very responsive and professional from booking through our stay. I couldn't​ have been more satisfied with our stay.

As a family of 8, there was more than enough room for us to spread out and find our own space in this bright, beautifully appointed home. Cathy was extremely helpful and the house had everything we needed. I especially appreciated the fly screen covered lanai, as it was the perfect place to entertain friends and family at dinner time. The bar fridge got a serious workout as well! Set back off the road makes this a very quiet, relaxing and peaceful place to stay.

We came to Hawaii with seven adults and had plenty of room. Each had their own bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen and living area are awesome for family gathering and cooking at home. Upstairs, the screened in deck was the place to be. Always a breeze, we gathered there with family and friends daily. Some notes: coffee maker is an automatic drip brew, NOT a Keurig. Plenty of gadgets in the kitchen for whatever you want to create (zester? They’ve got that too!), plenty of dishes for a large group. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home. We made wonderful memories while there.

We booked this house, without knowing the exact location. We were only travelling with 6 people, but this place has room for more. The house is spacious, airy, once the windows are opened there is a fantastic breeze throughout. The estate has beautiful flowers and fruit trees; pomelos, limes avocados, mango, coconuts. We saw chickens, pigs and geckos around the property throughout our stay. We loved being on the north end of the island, it was not crowded, but lots of things to see and do in the area, and we still visited Diamond Head and Pearl Harbor, with less than an hour drive. This house is set behind another residence, on a private drive. It's on the highway, but you wouldn't know it. No noticeable traffic sounds, and at night you could hear the sound of the waves crashing on Sunset Beach. The beach is less than a 3 minute walk from the front door, literally at the end of the driveway. It was 15 minute walk to Ted's Bakery, a fantastic place for breakfast. they have great pies and cakes too. There are a number of food trucks in walking distance, and only a 20 minute drive to Laie or Haleiwa. The house was clean, well furnished and very open, We enjoyed the peace and privacy it offered. It was stocked with everything we needed during our stay. Though it has a nice kitchen, we never did get around to cooking. Once booked, the agent communicated frequently, and did everything to make sure we were prepared for our stay. She responded immediately to our questions and provided lots of information before we arrived. We are already talking about when we should go back, and this house is part of the reason why.

I originally had a group of 7 booked for the house, ultimately we had 5 guests. The house is decorated beautifully. We had tons of space. Surprisingly, with 5 showers there was never a shortage of hot water. The outdoor shower attached to the master suite is a must do. All of the rooms had very comfortable beds and bedding. My family loved eating dinner on the big upstairs screened in porch. Each morning we woke up to 4 pigs running across the yard being followed by a chicken. You have to see it to believe it. The master suite felt like sleeping in a lush jungle. There is a huge dressing room/closet in the master suite that is to die for.The amenities were great, shampoo, dishwasher detergent, washer detergent, trash bags, and TP were plentiful.The variety of cookware and cooking utensils was vast. Plenty of dishes and glasses.Lots of good books too. Location, location , location. This property is literally a 2 minute walk to the gorgeous Sunset beach. We had a minor problem and Cathy took care of the problem in a timely manner. Cathy is great to deal with and gave great directions and instructions concerning the house. We will absolutely stay there again. If you are looking for a slice of heaven on earth...this is it. The house has no ac but the breezes keep it mostly cool. At night it was a little warm(avg temp was 84 when we were there) in bedrooms a box fan in each bedroom would remedy that. Overall, best vacation property and grounds we have ever stayed at.

Our family of 4 and both sets of grandparents enjoyed this wonderful home on our vacation in Hawaii. The home was beautiful relaxing and very spacious! With 8 of us, it was large enough to have all of us together for meals and fun time, but also spacious enough that we could do our own things without getting in each others ways. Just across the street from the beach, we enjoyed lots of swimming and snorkeling and saw lots of beautiful sunsets!!

The property reminds me of a large southern plantation property that comes with butlers and maids, as seen in movies. The Great Room is enormous, where everyone congregates to play, chat, watch a little TV and of course, prepare meals and to eat amidst chatter and laughter. The kitchen has all the amenities a good chef needs, the island is spacious providing room for a variety of spread and there’s a full complement of dishes and things. I loved the large/tall mugs; you don’t have to go back for a second mug of coffee. On a small note, one must be familiar with how to operate the induction stove. The second best part is the location. The walk to the beach is about 3 minutes, and a bonus peek-aboo view from the kitchen. Away from the main street, the noise level and traffic are non-existent except for occassional ambulance or police siren. And if your ears are good, you could hear the waves at night and the roosters to wake you up bright and early, like clockwork. Loved the patios, especially the screened porch upstairs, for shooting the breeze. Ted’s Bakery was a favorite for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Foodland is just 3 miles down, if you are feeling motivated to cook. We grilled some steaks one evening, when the rain was pouring. We had planned this vacation mainly for the yearly scheduled Triple Crown Surfing Competition, BUT the 25-ft. waves never came until a few days after we've arrived home. A disappointment! But a walk to the beach later in the afternoons to watch the sunset gave us a feeling of peace and joy (like Christmas!). In the future, whether the waves will come as scheduled or not, we must come back to this wonderful home. Our memories of Sunset Beach and a beautiful stay will linger to last us for a long while.
