The Airconditioner in our room was not efficient.

We stayed at the sunrise villa and it was magnificent. Spacious, luxurious with the best view on the island. Everywhere you look on the island is beautiful. Quiet and peaceful relaxing stay. Staff were attentive and service was always with a smile. Our flight was delayed and then couldn't land due to weather. We were so happy to have staff waiting for us when we eventually landed.

corrupt , scammers , don’t fall for the WhatsApp communication, it violates bookings policy. This property is way overpriced . management is unresponsive and as a result made me feel extremely unsafe to visit a foreign country such as the Phillipines .

nothing at all. They are corrupt , rude and could care less about the guest . I recommend going to Lime Resort in El Nido . You can do everything a better and more affordable price .

I didn’t have hot water in the shower.

Location, food, views, quality of the premises. The hotel is quite amazing, and our only negative comment is the one stated below.

The fact that we were requested to pay € 100 for the van/boat trip to the hotel. We arrived at 21.30, and informed the hotel in advance. In booking.com it was expressly stated that this trip was included in the price, and there was no reference to any exceptions concerning timings. However, after we had already secured the booking, we were informed that due to the late time, we had to pay this extra € 100 for transport. Also this value is crazily high, as we could clearly see that the transport was secured by hotel staff, and it took them around 40 mnts to ensure that we were at the hotel. We raised this issue with the staff, but they were firm in the need to charge this extra and non anticipated fee despite our protests. In the country where we live (not sure if the same in Philipines), this behaviour of charging unannounced fees which btw are rather unbalanced, is clearly unlawful and could result in the hotel being subject to heavy fines.

The staff are all hospitable, kind and attentive to the needs of the guests.

Absolutely gorgeous resort that deserves all its stars and more. From booking to departure, the service is top notch and they are very responsive. The setting of the island is gorgeous and the villas are beautiful. The atmosphere across the resort is very relaxed and luxurious. The food is delicious.

Wi-Fi not perfect…but not a problem! Prices of small things like a small ice cream completely non sense. 16 euros for an ice cream!😄…I thought it could be a mistake but not! Nevertheless everything s perfect!

Incredible value for money. Hard to match location, staff were always very friendly, flexible and helpful. Felt like a top tier luxury stay at an affordable price. Lots of activities including sunrise/sunset hikes, scuba diving, bodyboarding, spa.

Everything!! The resort feels like a dream, we loved every single thing!! The food, the staff, the location, the amenities, everything was amazing!! Best spot for our honeymoon!

Transportation back to the mainland under very bad weather conditions should have not been made (and seemingly forced by Management) to get us off the island surrounded by lightning (this is not to be done in a semi-open relatively small vessel). We were told all morning prior to the departure that the El Nido airport was open and that planes were landing and taking off. This was a lie, the airport was in fact never open that day and all flights were cancelled leaving us stranded at the airport without hotel accommodations. This was an intentional act. Management on this island is poor, the food was sub par. Despite a large variety of menu items, often items were not available. The gym could not be used, most of the equipment was broken. Not that we chose islands based on their gym facilities but in this instance I needed a treadmill to prep for a race. If you are an open water swimmer, this is not the island to chose, better to stay on 7 Commando Beach at Thomas' place called Village Resort (beautiful!!) where we spent 4 nights before coming to Cauayan Island. We have been in many beautiful islands (in the South Pacific, the Caribbean and Indian Ocean), this is not one to come back to (for USD 700/night including breakfast).
