Everything was above and beyond excellent, what more can we say.

The surprise Tim Tam biscuits and the decanter of port. The fire place was my highlight love fire places.

All the little extras were really appreciated, including chopped firewood, well equipped kitchen, etc. Very comfortable bed and quality linen. Loved being able to bring our small dog.

This Stay is close to town. Love the birds around property. Family around the fireplace was nice when temperatures dropped. Nice views from Mt Malay and war memorial.

Excellent location, cozy cottage which makes you instantly feel at home, very comfy and freshly decorated, awesome garden, every single detail was fantastic, especially loved the coffee machine. Thank you 😀

Excellent location. The cottage was just gorgeous. Everything was supplied and added touches such as the Tim Tams was lovely. Fireplace is great but not cold enough to use it. However we sat around the outside firepit with a glass of wine and the backyard is lovely and private.

The spiral staircase might be a challenge for older people or anybody with any sort of mobility problems. But looks fantastic and very effective for space.

Great cottage with all the facilities you’d need. We’ve stayed here in the winter and the summer and on both occasions had a fantastic stay. The location is great, just on the edge of town and also central to all the Stanthorpe wineries and sights.

The place was lovely, the bed was comfortable, and the fire pit was great.

Self contained and well equipped. Coffee machine and Tim Tams a lovely touch. Wonderful toiletries in bathroom. Easy access into property. Close to Girraween and wineries

A little traffic noise heard in Mulberry Cottage Mosquitoes when sitting on the front porch or under the trees - citronella or repellent would be a great addition

Well presented private little cottage within a pleasant 15 minute walk to the main street.

The cottage is beautifully presented and very comfortable.It doesn’t have wifi but it wasn’t a problem for us. It is well fitted out otherwise. There were 2 of us but it would accomodate 4. It is air conditioned and also has a pot bellied stove. The front verandah is delightful as is the shady area out the back where there is seating and a barbecue. Quart Pot Creek and town centre are at a walkable distance. Anna’s Restaurant is about a 10 minute walk.

Some clothes hooks in the 2nd bedroom would be good .

Thank you for providing such a beautiful cottage for our stay in Stanthorpe. Cedar Cottage felt like a home away from home and it made our visit to meet my new baby niece all that more special and memorable for our family. The kids loved the bedrooms, the DVD and board game options and marshmallows by the fire pit. We loved the spacious living area, large backyard, beautiful garden, quietness and the central location. We hope to visit and stay again soon!

I stayed at the Silky Oak Cottage, which has gorgeous gardens around it, a front porch for eating meals, and a back step you can sit on to drink tea. It's small but has everything you need, with a loft bedroom and adjoining balcony, a downstairs bathroom with bath and shower, and a lovely kitchen with pans, pots, dishes, utensils, bar fridge, and an upright stove and oven. There is also an inside fireplace. It was perfect. I cooked dinner, relaxed, the bed was comfy, and there is a ceiling fan and air conditioning for hot nights, as well as the screen doors leading out onto the balcony that let the breeze in. I really enjoyed the outdoor communal fire pit, and sat out there for a few hours under the stars. I was the only person staying in the cottages mid week, and it was a real retreat. I absolutely loved it.

There is a narrow spiral staircase leading to the bedroom, so for anyone with vertigo or balance issues, this may be uncomfortable. I found that the railings were enough to hold onto, and that I got better at walking up, but never quite got the hang of walking down.

The property has everything you need and is quiet, cozy and comfortable. Good location and super friendly host.
