Apartamento Ana was like staying in a home away from home. The owner Riccardo was so helpful & communicative, and we could communicate in English which was helpful as our Spanish is basic. The apartment is spacious and clean with working Wi-Fi (it worked best in the lounge area), a washing machine, large wardrobe, kitchen with coffee maker, and handy clothes drying rack. The master bed was a decent size and very comfortable. the ceiling fans were powerful yet quiet so we could still sleep with them on. The ACs worked well. We especially enjoyed the Mountain View from the private balcony with comfortable seating. there are bedside reading lamps in the master bedroom, which was nice for ambient lighting, and the desk and chairs were useful for remote working. . He helped us find the property with tips on transport getting to his place, which is in the centro historico and close to many restaurants & conveniences. Like most accommodation we stayed in the Caribbean coast, the apartment has cold water showers only but we got used to it as the climate is so hot. the apartment is central yet nicely quiet in the evenings for a good sleep. we only booked 2 nights but could easily have stayed longer and would definitely stay again.

It really was a perfect stay.

The apartments are exceptional! Large space with all the amenities you need: Washing machine, cooking facilities, wardrobes and above all they have a small area of condiments, tea towels and paper towels. The host Riccardo is so friendly and helpful and speaks perfect English. I cannot recommend these apartments enough, superb value for money and a 5 minute walk to the promenade!

Apartment a few minutes from the center with double entrance gate. The rooms are spacious and clean. The kitchen is well equipped with a washing machine. The owner lives in the same building and does everything to make the holiday peaceful.

4th floor apartment without lift. The owner always offered to help us.

A nice respite in a central location of the city. Riccardo was a great host who was always available. The apartment is spacious, and we really appreciated the washing machine after our trek to the lost city.

Big apartment. Very good central location near to transport to tyrona and minca.The owner speeks very good english and gives european service. We needed to restart sim and ricardo went and arranged us all. Every thing we needed immediately we had response. We had washing mashine and used it. Good faciliteas at kitchen but we didn't use them.

Too expensive in view that I can get an apartment in LaCandelaria in Bogotá for less than half the price.

Riccardo is definitely the best host that we ever had. We are traveling a lot and it is the first time we had that kind of attention. Messages over WhatsApp to check if everything is good for us, help for any thing you need, flexibility and kindest! The apartments are well located and you can find everything that you need as well.

Nothing, we will come back anytime if we happen to be in Santa Marta again!

-the host, Riccardo, is very welcoming, helpful and friendly with his lovely family living in the same building -very comfortable bed in a nice air-conditioned bedroom (essential for a good night's sleep in Santa Marta) which was quiet with the door closed at night---the AC unit in the bedroom is quiet and works well -the kitchen had all the basic items needed for cooking and a good, big fridge, as well as a very easy-to-use clothes washer (clothes dry quickly in the hot air of the living room -the central location was very convenient for many services and only about 15 min.' walk from the city beach or several interesting restaurants (i.e. Parque de los Novios)---the host also gave some good suggestions for restaurants (I highly recommend Lamart Restaurant for good, wholesome food and friendly service---some great street singers just outside, too) -the apt. is very clean with everything working in good order -Riccardo has a very positive vibe which makes everyone feel welcome, grazie, Riccardo!

- temperature: there is no air conditioner unit in the living room which means it can be unbearably hot at times (even with the balcony door open during the daytime, though at night, it's a bit cooler), noise: there is a lot of noise from the street below and the neighbourhood often all day long and late into the evening which can be overwhelming if the balcony door is open so I hardly used the balcony at all, preferring the much quieter (and air-conditioned) bedroom with the large bed in the back when I was inside the apartment

Riccardo is a super nice and caring host. I got sick the next day and he let us stay a bit longer in the appartement, helped with the luggage and offered to go to a pharmacy with us.

The neighbourhood was a bit noisy at night.

Best host from beginning to end. Ricardo met us and helped us with our bags both at check-in and check-out. He helped us with recommendations and minor issues that popped up immediately! If we stay in Santa Marta again it will definitely be with him again.
