Super comfortable and clean, excellent position. Shared kitchen very useful if you wish having breakfast at home. Sagres is a magic place and everything is walking distance from casa gigi.

The room was clean and appeared new, location was quiet but perfect for bus and a supermarket a block away.

Due to extreme winds during our stay, we sometimes had to close our shutters during daylight hours because if open the wind would disengage the shutter from the catch intended to hold it open, and it would bang noisily/violently against the sliding door. Not much English is spoken so communications were sometimes challenging, but otherwise it was a great stay.

Great place, great host

Casa Gigi is a small quaint lovely house with many rooms to rent. The owner has decorated the house/apartment with love and itches everything one would need to cook and clean(washing machine). The Kitchen is well equipped and one can cook a great meal there.it also has a terrace when one can sun tan when one doesn’t want to visit the beach which my the way just 400 meters away.

nothing to not like, the bathroom is small and the shower is tiny. if you are a BIG person please don’t book this place as it might be difficult for you to move in the shower 😁. it’s just enough for someone who isn’t too healthy 😉

We were there to celebrate our 40th anniversary and the hosts welcomed us with a bottle of sparkling wine and chocolates! Alda was especially sweet and helpful to us.

the houses in Portugal are freezing , they lack insulation both from cold and Josie and this isn’t just tru of this apartment they are all the same . this apartment had one tiny heater in the bedroom which hardly coped , i don’t know why but condensation is a huge problem in all places in portugal sadly this lovely place was just as guilty from condensation you get mould and if these apartments are left for anytime even in winter mould appears the apartment was from first inspections very clean , but the mould was there still inside the cupboards the whole time we were there the floor was damp our clothes we washed never dried after two days while inside with heating on , the shower cubical was so small , we have stayed in 1000 s of hotels and B&Bs but this one was extra small nearly impossible for my husband who is 190 cm to even get into let alone utilese it , owner came asking about our stay as we were leaving and to tell us that we got dis punts at sone restaurant lot of good that was after we were leaving clearly he really didn’t care thou advertised cable television it was all local Portuguese’s channels and no cable
