Manuel war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Die Apartments waren gut ausgestattet und die Lage ist ein Traum.

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa do Manuel. Lovely clean and spacious rooms with great facilities. Perfect location on Madeira island to stay out of the city but still be able to experience Madeiras community and culture.

Everything was perfect, Manuel and Fatima were very welcoming ! The place was greatly located in Santana and very comfy with a fully equipped accommodation. Definitely one of the best spots to stay and discover the northern side of my the island !

Casa do Manuel was clean, spacious, and had a comfortable bed. Fully equipped kitchen with everything we needed. Private terrace which was perfect for eating breakfast in the sun. Walking distance from "downtown" Santana. Friendly and helpful hosts.

Be aware of roosters and dogs making a bit of noise during the nights (this is in the countryside after all). Bring some earplugs if you need complete silence to sleep.

Clean, quiet, open space, private parking on location, access to laundry which is awesome for longer stays. Location is new and renovated, bathroom and the shower are a treat! Easy accessible from the airport (20 min drive away). Very comfy and you have all the facilities needed. Manuel was very welcoming and helpful. Totally recommend!

There’s 1 thing that we think it can be improved, either a net at the door so you can sleep with it open and don’t get mosquitoes inside, or a way to open a window or tilting the door open to get fresh air during the night.

Everything what do you need is available in appartment, nice clean and cozy. Owners are great and helpful.

Manuel was super helpful, the apartment clean and very nice. I will stay here again! Everything you need is within walking distance, i didn't have a car.

The last night i could hear the neighbors talking, insolation isn't as good.

Absolutely superb. The apartment is furnished to a very high standard with high quality self catering facilities and utensils. Manuel could not have been more helpful, doing everything he could to help us. We are so grateful to him for making our stay in the area extra special.

We loved our stay at Casa do Manuel. It is very peaceful and quiet, with a lovely shared garden and personal terrace to enjoy the sun from early morning on. The location is close to a few nice restaurants and Santana is a great location to stay for several hikes. All the needed facilities are in the room, the bed was comfortable and the shower was amazing (not exaggerating).

Our stay was perfect. The house is well-equipped with everything you need to spend some days in this island. The room was nice with beautiful views. Manuel was really nice and helpful with us. Santana is really close with supermarkets and shops. We will come back some day for sure!

Everything about the suite was fantastic. Wish every hotel was this well thought out and functional. Great view, great shower, great kitchenette, great cat. Thank you for having the heat on, nights were still chilly, and not everyplace in Madeira did!

Such a nice place to stay in Santana! Cozy, clean and comfortable, with everything one would need even for a longer stay. It is a very convenient base if you intend to go hiking to Pico Ruivo, Levada do Caldeirao Verde, Caldeirao do Inferno, or Levada do Rei. Everything in the studio and in the garden is carefully maintained and looks brand new. Very well-equipped kitchen, good mattress, comfortable bathroom, patio that is perfect to enjoy the sun. And yes, they provide heating in winter, which is not common for Madeira but was highly appreciated by us in February. Manuel is very nice and helpful. He gave us useful advice which hikes to do in the region, explained some specifics of the local cuisine, and even picked garlic from the garden for us to flavor our salad. He also provides a possibility to wash and dry your clothes for free, though we did not take advantage of it. I would strongly recommend staying at Casa do Manuel. It is even better than on the pictures.

The only thing that could be an issue is the tricky entry by car because of the sloppy road and the sharp turn close to the gate. But this is a problem almost everywhere in Madeira and we coped with it better than expected.

This was our best accomodation in Madeira. Manuel is a great, helpful host. We loved the studio, the beds were comfortable, the shower splendid, facilities great and the views from studio were the best about it. Moreover, it WASN'T HUMID AT ALL! Manuel had dehumidifier going when we arrived. Dont be worried at all to book this accomodation in winter, your belongings will not get wet. We also loved the sorting waste opportunities - there is a container for bio waste as well as possibility to get a bucket for food leftovers for hens. As countryside and hiking lovers, we couldn't get enough of this. If we knew about Casa do Manuel sooner, we would have definitely stayed longer.

The room is great! it’s well equipped, super clean, and it has a really nice view. The host was super responsive when we arrived late at night and was welcoming and guided us in the rest of our stay. Looking forward to come back!
