De locatie is perfect. Midden in het centrum. Hoewel het hotel oud is , is het van alle gemakken voorzien. Prachtig uitzicht. En aardig personeel.

Well I use yous most of the time I come to Edinburgh but my last visit. The bed was very uncomfortable and there wasn’t room between toilet door n the sink had to go in side ways and I’m not slim Jane unfortunately

Comfortable beds, great location for Edinburgh and lovely food served.

Our first room's windows overlooked the fire escape (well through frosted glass) and a landing which had the light on all night. Could see this through the closed curtains. Did consider complaining but as we were only sleeping in it for 2 nights, didn't bother to. However, after our return flight was cancelled and we rebooked for another night, then given a room overlooking the Scott monument and Princes Street. Now wish we had complained on the first two nights! Also did not like having to pay £25 key deposit for the room key.

Ideal location. We only stayed one night to catch the bus to the airport and it was perfect. Quiet, central and close to everything you might need.

Reception bar area and diningroom were well decorated and comfortable and warm and lovely views of the city. Lovely atmosphere for us to end our evening relaxing.

Although bedroom size was excellent for us 3 to share could do with updating.

Clean and convenient

Old school hotel but quality; comfy beds, big windows with views onto Princes Street, tea and kettle and desk, spacious rooms with lovely tall ceilings, staff friendly/flexible - were able to hold on to my luggage for most of the day when I checked out! Good bathroom and shower, spacious and good pressure for an older building. The decor is older, but I found it charming for that. The TV’s are old school small but that’s OK

Could do an intro about the wifi, and it looked like it was an open network (as opposed to a password WPA3 etc), but there was plenty of 4G signal.

We have stayed at the Waverley several times and the only fault was the room we were in was smaller than the last few times we stayed, this didn’t spoil our stay as it was spotless and the staff exceptional.

Amazing location right in the city center and stunning view of the Scott Monument and Princess Street. The breakfast was quite good, and the bar and restaurant area were lovely.

The room required renovation and refreshing: old furniture, old fashion design, old carpets and poor bathroom.

De locatie

De prijs kwaliteit verhouding klopt niet! Het bed was slecht, er was enkelvoudig glas waardoor al het geluid van buiten goed te horen was. Stoffige kamer. Voor de prijs die gevraagd wordt verwacht je meer.

Location was perfect! Across from the main train station and easy walk to everything!

Wifi quality was really poor. Some front desk staff were not as friendly as the others but didn't really affect our stay. It would just be nice to have a smiling face when you walk passed.

Perfecte locatie op Princes street. Direct naast de halte van de airport bus en tegenover Waverley station. Prima en functioneel ontbijt met warme en koude gerechten en broodjes. Fijne bedden.

We hadden een kamer zonder uitzicht. Maar konden ook niet naar buiten kijken. De ramen waren dichtgemaakt.. Daarnaast was de kamer wat krap.

Posizione ottima, centralissima e comoda per raggiungere qualsiasi parte di Edimburgo. Pulizia, buoni servizi e rapporto qualità prezzo davvero buono. La gentilezza del personale, un tocco super! Nonostante abbiamo fatto diverse richieste, si sono mostrati super disponibili cercando di accontentare ogni nostra esigenza.

Die Badewanne:) Wahnsinnig tolle Betten. Richtig tolles altes Hotel-Hotel! Ich reise sehr selten, aber so stelle ich mir ein Hotel vor. Very scottish!

Frühstück war uns zu teuer. Aber das Hotel liegt so zentral, dass man super überall hinkommt. Getränkeautomat wäre toll gewesen.

wij wisten het van te voren maar als je slecht ter been bent is dit leuke hotel geen handige optie. ( meer als tip voor mensen die willen boeken)

goede bedden, schone kamer, vriendelijk personeel en een prima Schots ontbijt! (ook andere mogelijkheden als yoghurt, verschillende verse broodjes en beleg)

de lift is vrij krap (er is er maar één en je kan er maar met vier personen in) Wat belangrijk is voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn en alleen reizen, is dit niet het handigste hotel. Eerst een trap op om bij de balie te komen, daarna een klein trapje om bij de lift te komen. Als gezin met oma met rollator konden wij dat prima oplossen, maar als traplopen lastig is, is dit niet het handigste verblijf.

La estancia fue francamente agradable. Sin duda, la ubicación, la amplitud y luminosidad de la habitación son sobresalientes en este alojamiento. Me gustaría destacar, igualmente, la amabilidad del personal.
