Overall we had a great time as always at Phoenix West condos. We have been coming to this location for ten years and every condo we stayed in (4 bedrooms) was perfect for our family. Beautiful condo

The condo was great. High above all of the noise. Very clean. Slow internet but that’s to be expected.

Really nice clean place

The location, the building itself was fine. The furniture was outdated and in ill repair. Unit had not been dusted nor was the floor clean. There was food in hide away bed and under it. The mattresses in hide alway were not sleepable. There was no handles on bedroom furniture so could not use drawers. For the money I paid for this unit, I was not pleased with the condition of it.

We were there last year and decided to bring our family this year. There something that needs some repair. One bulb in the bathroom keep blinking so we took it out, some of the dresser are in need of knobs or some updating and the double bedroom needs a dresser. Just some update.

Thought the host of this property was not doing her job. Asked several questions before we got there. She didn’t respond a lot of could have been handled before we got there. Great property. Just dirty. Floors are filthy. Not by looking but walk barefoot and there black instantly. Under the beds under the couches. Looks like they have never been moved. Only reason I noticed I dropped my pill box. Not a good idea. I’ve maker was filthy. Asked about she ignored me. So had to wait til Mon to get it fixed. Only other thing is more cooking utensils. If a family wanted to cook it would be hard to. Few light bulbs out no big deal bathroom vent didn’t work but not big issues

This unit was perfect for our recent stay! There was plenty of space and the unit had everything we needed. The view was gorgeous! Thank you for allowing us to rent the unit!

Bar icemaker filter needed to be replaced, disposer did not have a guard cover, fan light over bed in king room did not work, exhaust fan in double br bathroom did not work, food left in fridge, dirty sheets, dirty toilets, dirty king shower, dirty floors kids had black feet, rug near tv was full of dirt, cabinet doors in kitchen were filthy, and shower curtain in first room fell down was not anchored. Reviewer Comments: My family has been going to Orange Beach for almost 10 years and we have always stayed in the Phoenix Condos - West, West II, V, and Orange Beach to name a few. We are familiar with the layouts and options as compared to other condos. This one failed to meet our expectations. The housekeeping staff is doing a diservice for the owners - our feet were always black from the floors, crumbs in the cabinets and drawers dust on the furniture, and stains on the comforters which did not look to have been washed in between stays. The condo in itself needs a lot of maintenance done to it as well. The beds in the room with the two full-sized beds are barely staying together - literally, a rail was lying on the ground under the bed and I had to caution my kids to get in and out of the bed gently as the headboards did not feel secure. The handrails in the bathrooms were bent/broken and some of the hooks for towels were snapped off. The views from the condo are gorgeous - the east-facing units are the best for sunrises and cool evenings to enjoy dinner on the balcony. If the above-mentioned things were taken care of, I would definitely consider staying here again, but not until the housekeeping does a better job and maintenance services the condo.

Will do it again

The condo was the perfect size and had all of the amenities that we expected in a vacation condo. The condo was not as clean as we usually expect especially in the master bedroom bathroom. We will certainly stay there again if its available.

Great location. Great view and amenities. Living furniture not so clean. Floors not cleaned and not clean after the girl came and took 10 minutes to mop them. I asked to have bucket and mop and I would do myself. Just nice to go barefoot in the evenings and there was no way. We were there 20 minutes upon arrival and the kids feet were charcoal colored.

The view was AMAZING! This unit was on the 23rd floor and you could see miles and miles of beach. The Blue Angles flew by one afternoon and felt like they were right at eye level. We stayed with another family and there was plenty of space for the 10 of us to spread out. Each bedroom has their own small balcony which was nice to open the door and hear the waves crashing at night. The only negative was the ice maker in the beverage center was not working. Although we were able to make due with the ice machine in the refrigerator it would have been nice for the extra ice.

Extremely easy to rent. Cost exactly as advertised. Communication with liaison was prompt. The outside property accommodated all ages. Elevators were no problem for our stay on the 23rd floor. Security was seen throughout the grounds. Condo was very well insulated from outside/inside noise. Will be back!!

While the amenities of Phoenix West were great. The condo itself was so dirty. Our feet were black the first 3 hours we were there, the floor were so dirty. The placemats were dirty. There is not a fully stocked kitchen. There’s no big spoons nor pot holders. The curtains in one room were broke and didn’t close. There are closet lights that flicker. There are many floor outlets with no covers. The wires to the TV are all over the side of it. The huge windows in the living/kitchen area don’t have any option for shade and the sun in the morning is blinding and makes an awful glare. The bath tub drains are broke. Overall it was very disappointing to be so dirty. We are local and book A LOT at the beach throughout the year and this is the first time we have ever had this bad of a stay for me to write a review like this.

We came to the Phoenix to get out of the way of Hurricane Ida. The process was so seamless and the lady was so helpful to us. I would recommend this company and this particular site to anyone

The place needs a deep clean. Some of the bathroom showers need to be cleaned better. The kitchen sink needs to be caulked. It is gross on the backside under the lip of the counter top. Water is going down between the sink and the counter into the cabinet below. Need more oven mits or hot plates. Only had one. The master bedroom I could not adjust the fan speed. The air conditioner is absolutely wonderful. Kept the place very cool. Loved the balcony. The ice maker was a plus used it all the time.

Pop bottles under the bed, hair ties left by others, sock under master bed. The comforter in the room with two beds had white crusty stuff on it. The Floors left our feet very black on day one. I contacted the property manager about this and her reply was "Thank you for letting me know. I will let the cleaners know what our found." And No one ever came by to actually clean. We were there for a week and not even an offer to have someone clean.

We had 12 people in our party (3 families). The bedrooms are large and bathrooms in every bedroom. There was plenty of room for everyone and no one felt crowded. Large living room and kitchen

The facility has a great setup for families with the lazy river. The lazy river, water slide, child pool, and other pool are all within a gate. I do think the indoor pool area is rather dark. They could use more lighting in there. Otherwise the facility is nice, beach is clean, the beach staff is also nice.

We had a great time at the Phoenix West for Memorial Weekend. Our group of 14 easily fit into 2309 and we will be planning a return trip. This is an awesome condo and we will be recommending to anyone looking to stay in Orange Beach.

The kitchen was adequately stocked with pans and trays, but it would have been difficult to cook a big meal for a large family. There were no measuring spoons or cups. However, who wants to cook on vacation?The outdoor area was large and wrapped around the side of the condo. The views were amazing. The condominium public spaces were well maintained and had a great "lazy river". We would recommend this location to other families. For restaurant recommendations: Big Fish and Louisianna Lagniappe are two favorites. And, no beaches in the world can beat the Alabama Gulf Coast. The water is not as clear or blue, but the sugar sand beaches are amazing.
