Good value nice owner clean and tidy

As this was a self catering apartment no breakfast was offeref or expected. My work involves renovation or alteration of prpoerty and one think that struck me is that a lot of trouble went into the flloor itself - hpow level and creak free it was. Obviously there had been a lot spent on converting the ground floor.Seating was comfy and adequate for a small family, with a small table in the window recess giving a good outlook to the well maintained garden, with its own outdoor furniture. Plenty of space. Really

We went off peak, with a daily temperature between 15 and 17 degrees. It was also quite windy. My wife feels the cold, therefore we found ourselves using the heater provided virtually constantly. The only source of heat was a small decorative stove type fan heater, which was useless on the 1st setting. We did not use the shower as we felt that we would feel the cold to much when wet, and the heater did not warm the back room. I was curious that the central heating that was in the entrance hall was not extended into the apartment itself. The shower/WC did not have its own light, which I found strange

It was near sea side. Easy free parking.

Flat was quite old fashioned and dated. It was not clean. There was no oven in the flat.

Location was good. Nice and quiet at night. Parking was good and Keith was very amenable in providing a visitors parking pass for our final day. Iron, iron board, pegs and most convenience products provided; fairy, wash powder (although we didn't use this). Plenty of cups/plates

Sofa was a little uncomfortable for an evening

Location and size. 4 adults fitted in fine with more room for children if required. Owner found a purse we accidently left and came after us to return it which was a nice gesture

Everything was fine

The keys were in a code locker and it was easy to get them

The bathroom wasn't clean enough. There was mold inside the shower cubicle and the shower head was very dirty. The rest of the room was ok.

Milk and tea bags only

No oven. No extraction in kitchen or toilet. Bad situation toilet don't think this is legal. Lacking Radiator not able to dry towels.

great location lovely area comfy beds ,nice hosts ,

cramped kitchen area ,banged my head twice ,place needs a bit of a revamp ,tired looking .uncomfortable couch ,and dining table impossible to set up

lovely owner (keith) and excellent accommodations, small walk into main town centre and close to everything. would recommend to all friends and family

The flat was lovely clean. Keith was very welcoming. Good location, 5 minute walk to Peasholm Park then down to the beach. Good local amenities. Throughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

Apartment was basic but clean. Bed was comfortable and the linen was clean and ironed. Milk in the fridge which was nice.

A bit perturbed by the bathroom arrangement and the shower was slow to drain.

We stayed at Columbus Holiday Flats with our little boy, during half term. It was literally a couple of minutes walk to Peasholm Park, and 5 minutes walk to North Bay Beach. It was a fantastic location. The room was fantastic with a little kitchen in the living room. The bedroom was great, had a big double bed and a bunkbed for my little boy who loved being on the top bunk. The bathroom had a great powerful shower, a sink and toilet. There was plenty of storage around the Holiday Flat for clothes and food in the kitchen. There were games for little ones to play. It is a fantastic location to get around Scarborough, and to get to neighbouring towns as we went to Whitby, and it wasnt far at all, about 30 minutes in the car. We will definitely be returning here, thankyou to Keith for hosting us. Rob, Heidi and George.

There is nothing that you wouldnt like.

The location was good - a short walk to Peasholm Park and easy to get to the sea. The apartment was spacious and there was also some outside space and it was quiet. The bed was comfortable and there was a useful fold-up table in the living area. We were lucky to be able to park right outside. The host was very helpful.

It would be helpful to have some info in the apartment about things like the parking permit arrangements, where the nearest shop and cafes are, how to work the TV, shower etc. There is a deep step just outside the toilet door - I did end up on my back when I tripped on it (no damage done)!
