The location was perfect with walking distance to the beach and a couple of local restaurants. The host was very informative and answered questions we had about the area. We stayed in the largest suite that offered a kitchen and a very large balcony with a beautiful view. Although the property doesn't offer designated parking spots, we consistently secured a parking spot very close to the property entrance. each time we came and went with our car.

My room had an obscured glass panel between the bedroom and bathroom . Over half was completely see through. We found it a bit odd

The bathroom needs ventilated. Floors became very slick where one could fall on the smooth tile flooring.. Other than that, it was great. The owner was attentive, helpful and informative about the area.

We loved the decor and the facilities. The kitchen was fully stocked and we cooked a few times. We liked the morning breakfasts and the outdoor eating areas.

very clean, in a quiet neighbourhood, everything is very close by, we slept with the patio door open to hear the ocean.

The staff was super friendly, nice shower. They gave us towels to go to the beach, which was super welcome. Nice and simple breakfast. You can take breakfast outside. We enjoyed the fact that we were able to use the kitchen in the nights. We would definitely come back here!

We loved it all. The whole place was one of a relaxed Mediterranean coastal vacation from the gardens to the large spacious rooms with a wonderful view. Sitting out on the terrace for breakfast was lively. We liked having a common sutting space and kitchen to access. While breakfast was scheduled, food items were left (baskets of bread and fruit) after breakfast for access at any time. And there was a guest refrigerator for keeping your own personal stock of food items. Security was good with door codes but also keyed locks and a key fob to wave instead of entering codes. We did our own check-in (because we were not on time) with the very clear instructions sent to us. We liked being directly across from the beach and a 20-25 minute walk to the marina and bridge across to the old Town. A couple of classy- looking restaurants nearby on the beach and a fabulous genuine Portugese restaurant that we really enjoyed.

Thrre wasn't anything we didn't like except having to leave. We wished we had more time.

During our travels around Portugal, this was far and above the best place we stayed. The property and rooms are impeccably maintained by the most wonderful and welcoming hosts. The guesthouse is welcoming, with a delicious breakfast and access to the beach just across the street. The communal spaces were clean, comfortable and a great way to meet fellow travelers. It felt like the perfect mix of shared space and privacy.

Lovely place and very well organized. Nice to have the outside space and places to store our groceries in the kitchen. The host was so helpful with advice on where to go and things to do.

I don't think it would be at all convenient for someone without a car. We weren't planning on renting one originally but there was a train strike. Free parking is great so it worked out well in the end. Directions on how to get there could be improved. We arrived later at night and it was difficult to find as the address wasn't working with the GPS.

The host recommended us some very nice places to visit around the area. The beds were excellent, room was clean and breakfast was all we needed. Loved the filter coffee!

The internet was not the best, but that didn’t impact us that much as we were on holiday. Good to know though if you’re planning to work.
