The staff were very helpful and welcoming. The food was fantastic. We really enjoyed our stay, and we'll be back next year.

Room was comfortable, hotel proximity to the harbour was a bonus, staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was very good for the price and parking was free.

Unfortunately the power kept tripping out that supplied the room sockets so bedside light, tv and also coffee maker were unable to be used for my stay. I saw nowhere on booking.com that said breakfast was available so was pleasantly surprised to find the restaurant open in the morning and a decent breakfast supplied for 12 euros. Maybe include that as an option when booking?

The WiFi was very bad on the second floor. Was in two different rooms and it didn’t work in either.

Being able to park in the Strandlust Hotel carpark as that's where you pick your room key up from. Lots more room in the Strandlust carpark than in the carpark that has a sign on it saying Havenhaus Hotel carpark - saw a couple of people parking in that one that were not staying in the hotel but were actually working at another bar close by Bonus question 2 below wants to know how the breakfast was - never had it as there was no indication of it being available

Pillows far too soft or not enough filling, shower cubicle very dirty on the door runners, what's the point in having a (capsule) coffee machine in the room and no capsules - tiny room with 2 single beds a desk and chair plus a small table with two quite largish wicker chairs that were impossible to sit in as they were pushed up against the roofline (room was on the 2nd floor, basically in the roof) - room was supposed to have a view..... probably did but the window was so small and quite high in the room all I could see was sky. Very noisy on a night with the revellers on the pub terrace below and not to mention the giant outdoor events screen set up for showing a football match right in front of the terrace below my room
