I loved the location and the property itself. The apartment was adorable. The balcony was great. It was so much fun watching the boats go by. Carlo is excellent to work with. We are Americans and he was right on top of everything. I would definitely recommend it for the authentic experience.

Beautiful apartment with a canal view. It's a bit far from the train station, but not far from all the things you want to see in the city. The kitchen has enough facilities for cooking, the apartment was clean. There is a small store right in front of the apartment, and there are lots of restaurants nearby. The host was helpful and friendly

It's quite noisy in the smaller room in the night / early in the morning. However, it's fixable. As there is a supermarket right in front of the window, there were some noisy boats in the night, and people were delivering products to the store, which made a lot of noise. Closing the window didn't help. However, we figured out that there some kind of external windows that can also be closed, and they reduce the noise in the night. I suggest using them. Also, for me it was a disadvantage that the toilets are inside the bedrooms. If you're traveling as 2 couples, all the noises you make in a toilet will be heard in the bedrooms. Also, the sink in the smaller room barely drain.

When it rained water came through the ceiling dripped onto the bedside light switch and ran down the wall into the elecetric socket. The coffee maker did not work. Both the above were notified to the owner who did nothing.

One of the restrooms seems old and the door is difficult to close.

The location was excellent, in walking distance to everything we needed. The apartment itself was great! More spacious than expected. Balcony was perfect - we sat out there all the time to watch all of the boats go by. There is a grocery store right accross the street and restaurants in every direction.

Owner gave us the wrong directions. We got lost. It would have been nice if he met us at the vaporeto stop
