Brilliant location in the heart of Stockbridge, great garden, great food

Lovely pub/hotel with great location. Very comfortable and clean room if a little on the small side but to be expected with an old pub in keeping with the rest of the high street. Would certainly stay here again. Exceptionally nice breakfast all freshly cooked and very hot.

The room wasn’t much bigger than a wardrobe … it had a slopped ceiling , which was really uncomfortable when your 6 ft, and very little floor space . To walk around the bed with such little room along with and luggage was a near impossibility. Finally to be woken at 6 am .. on a Sunday morning from noise below ( bar area) was very disappointing to day the least . If your booking here make sure it’s NOT room 8 !!
