Nice clean room ,good location

Had about 30 seconds with the owner to give me the key and the password for the wi-fi, there was no-one there not even for check out

Great location. Really comfortable, clean room, light and airy. Great shower, very clean bathroom. Felt like a bit of luxury compared to most guesthouses I had stayed in.

Obviously on the pricier side but for Galle fort you won't get any cheaper!!

Also, you have to go up and down for everything and everytime. Bathroom was clean but had some very bad smell. May be from sewerage. 🤮🤮

Excellent location right in the centre of Galle Fort. The bed is really comfy and the decor is beautiful. The hot shower was great too!

Little bit of an odd vibe from the owners. Booking.com advertised the room as 24 hour check out but I was made aware this was not the case.

I stayed in the ground floor room, it was a good size, nicely styled and very clean. The bathroom had good water pressure and a nice hot shower. The family just rent rooms, handing over the keys and letting you get on with it. For the price I would highly recommend Fort Heaven. The location is very good as down a quiet ally so very little noise at night.

Only 1 bed available, you have to walk from the street. Cash only. The water is uncontrollable. Too hot all the time. Lol

Friendly homestay atmosphere. Proprietor was knowledgeable and could arrange transport and sightseeing. Value for money. Room had all essentials. Great location for sunrise and sunset views.

Location is within the fort complex, so eateries and shops are within walking distance.Rooms are very clean. Basic amenities are provided. It is good value for money. The family running the homestay is very responsive to any questions. Breakfast is not provided in the homestay currently, we went to one of their other hotels for breakfast.

The room on the first floor has bed on an attic of sorts , it’s comfortable but the stairs are not for aged people. Cars cannot reach the homestay as it is in a narrow by-lane. If you are travelling with a vehicle then parking may be a problem.

Room is cozy and cute. Its more like a homestay as the family stays downstairs. They are really sweet and don't really interfere much. The location is perfect as its very close to Peddler street which is like the main street in the Galle Fort.

We booked the place since it said 24hr check in & check out but the owner really chased us to check out even before the official check out time. They also didn't have any breakfast which is a bummer as many hotels in the same area had it and not much of a price difference either. Room is a little small and you need to climb 2 storeys so travel light if possible as we have to carry the bags on our own, not much staff to help around. Card payment wasn't accepted so plan accordingly.

Beautiful home, lovely room. Felt very comfortable with nice family. Shower, WiFi, A/C and fan all fantastic. Location fantastic. Great to have kettle in my room to make my own coffee in the morning (I didn't book breakfast). Would recommend anyone to stay there.

Not much wrong. Could have done with a clothes rack of some sort but not a big deal as there was hooks on the wall.

The rooms and common areas look like in the photos. Quite area close to one of the edges of the fort. The hosts were very kind and friendly. The breakfast was lovely. The selection of exotic fruits was delicious.

In our room there was a flight of stairs from the mezzanine floor bedroom down the the toilet area. For older folk this is an unnecessary inconvenience for middle of the night trips.
