We stayed 3 nights but could have easily stayed longer due to: -Great hotel design with a pool in the middle and well decorated rooms. -Staff is very welcoming and helpful. Helped us to solve a mosquito problem, get a thermometer, ventilator, etc

Golden Temple Retreat is a beautiful hotel, with mix of traditional and modern interiors. The staff was exceptional. They were courteous and very friendly. Especially Sophia from the front desk, she was personally interacting with each guest and made sure they are comfortable with their stay. The spa was amazing. The hotel is located in a peaceful area away from the city noise but not too far from the center. The city center, old market street, pub street are all within walking distance. Highly recommend this hotel and would definitely come back again.

Could not fault anything

Everthing was nothing but great from the airport pick up!! The staff was very friendly, the food was delicious, and the room was so stylish and clean. We also loved the pool with bars to cool off the heat from the daytime tour. The location of the hotel was perfect close to the city center and not too far away from the airport. I had been messaging with the hotel even before the stay about some tours to the heritages. The hotel booked us a perfect tour which was beyond divine. Mr. Thoeun and Mr. Chong has stayed with for two days trip. They gave us chilly waters everytime we went back to the van, and even cold towels. Guide Mr. Chong gave us a very detailed explanation about the temples which made our trips the best trip ever. Thanks to the two for the best moments ever:)

The Golden Temple Retreat team was phenomenal! Huge thanks to Daro, Nacaa, and many more whose names I unfortunately forgot—we felt at home and well taken care of and left wishing we could extend our stay. Pros: EXCEPTIONAL service (very friendly, professional, and accommodating staff), airport round-trip transfer, tasty welcome drink and snacks, spacious room, gorgeous stone tub with nice salt scrub, comfortable bed, TV streaming options, amazing complimentary couples massage (my masseuse was heavenly!), complimentary lunch/dinner (we chose dinner), proximity to city center, quiet and safe area, beautiful property design, and gorgeous pool. Cambodia, in itself, blew our minds!

Cons: bathroom mirror height is too high and had average lighting, and food is good but could be improved (still grateful for the complimentary dinner). These are VERY minor cons.

good location and very friendly staff and good service. the hotel offered free pick up and drop off to the airport and nice tour packages to the temples in the area. the restaurant on site has very delicious food. the small swimming pool is pretty

The staff were so welcoming, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The location is superb for evening time - a few minutes walk to pub street. Lovely pool and clean comfortable rooms. We also enjoyed a free lunch which was really tasty and a free massage which was great. Sophia organised a tour for us to see the sunrise at Ankhor Wat with Sinet and Chen and to other temples later in the day. It was beautiful, informative and fun. All in all we had an amazing few days thanks to the Golden Temple Retreat. Highly recommended!

Friendly & accommodating staffs especially Ms Liza, she goes all the way to serve us well, thank u so much! Comfortable bed & pillow, long & clean swimming pool accessible from our room, big shower area, spacious room, excellent complimentary massage & dinner! Overall its a nice boutique hotel close to town worth the price! Keep it up!

Limited parking space, signage unclear for entrance, some furnitures are old/inconvenient to use, lots of mosquitoes if stay outdoor at night.

amazing staff :) once they realized it was my mom's birthday, they set up a surprise by setting up her bed with a birthday greeting and later on singing to her complete with a cake :) the place was truly a retreat and was quite relaxing. i especially loved that the pool was right outside our doorstep :) the tamarind bath salt was also a very nice touch.

We loved everything from start to finish! They arranged for us to get picked up from the airport and were ready with a nice refreshing cooling towel. Then the driver drove us to get a sim card, whilst telling us about the area and the culture. Later on the staff at the front desk helped us book a tour for the next day to see Phnom Bakheng at sunset and also to see Angkor Wat at sunrise. We spent the whole day in the temple area and it was so interesting and magical. The location of the hotel was great; close to bars and restaurants and the hotel itself was so beautiful. We had lunch one day and the food was delicious. The service was outstanding, during the breakfasts and the lunch and generally the staff was so lovely. We also had a whole body massage after visiting Angkor Wat, which was so professional and really good. We also loved the pool. It was gorgeously done out, with a waterfall feature, half sunken lounge chairs and a swim up bar at the end. We absolutely loved our stay and we really want to come back one day! Thank you so much 🙏🏼

Loved our stay at the Golden Temple Retreat! We had a pool access room which was very comfortable and all the staff was very lovely. The breakfast and lunch were delicious, and the massage topped off the wonderful stay. The hotel kindly organised 3 days worth of tours with a driver - Chhong and So Pheak were amazing at showing us around Angkor Wat, Koh Ker, and Beng Mealea, I would highly recommend them for your tours! There was always a supply of nice cold water waiting for us after our hot walks. We also managed to be in Siem Reap during Songkran and it was one of the most memorable experiences of our trip!

The Golden Temple Retreat is a small locally owned and operated gem of a hotel in Siem Reap. It is the perfect place to stay for a visit to the Angkor Wat Temples. They offer tours in a private air-conditioned van and guide and driver for very reasonable price and much more comfortable that a tuk tuk. Sinet was tour guide for two days and absolutely phenomenal. His knowledge of history and English language is perfect. Driver Chhay also so much fun al ate having cold water and cold wash cloths. The Hotel Staff is also so nice and accommodating. Marida, Lisa, Daro, Sopheak are all so friendly. Also, great spa and massage.

Drinks in Mini Fridge were warm, and the mini fridge was not working.

The room and hotel were of a very good standard for the price we paid and we also had a free lunch and a massage added in. We would definitely go back again and highly recommend to anyone visiting Siem Reap
