My daughter actually took the trip. I just did the booking. Here's what she and her fiance (they just got engaged up on Haleakala) had to say: "The condo was perfect. Beautiful, clean, full kitchen, free coffee, beach supplies. Everything we needed plus more. Best part: to get to the beach you walk out the condo door, go down the hall, pass the pool and there is the beach right in front of you. No road to cross... it's all just there. Ideal location in an ideal community. We loved the condo. We loved the beach. We loved Kihei. Counting the days until we can go back." From my side, Elen was great to work with. Her communication was excellent. She kept us totally on top of things and had great recommendations for things to do, places to eat as well as where to rent the car! My daughter also mentioned that check-out was a breeze. There wasn't a mountain of chores to do like some short term rentals. They totally appreciated that as well. Everything was 10 out of 10! Elen was an excellent host, she was timely with all the information for her condo and then she also had so many recommendations of places to go on the Island. I would highly recommend staying at this location. I will book again on my next trip to the Islands. A few things had changed since my last visit to Maui that I just wanted other guests to keep in mind if they book a trip. If you do the Road to Hana and want to visit the black sand beach they require reservations. Also if you want to do the Sunrise on Mt Haleakala you will want to book that early, they sell out a month in advance. I will say we did not get a reservation and got a recommendation from a local that stated the sunset is just as gorgeous and you don’t need reservations for that. We did that and she did not disappoint, it was Breathtaking!!!

Beautiful property fully enjoyed our stay. The beach is steps away. Pool area and patio is very nice. Unit is very nice, clean and well stocked. We would definitely stay here again.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here at your place, Elen! In our minds this is a hidden gem….it’s the perfect location to have a low key relaxing vacation and just a short drive to restaurants and shops. We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary and my husband’s 50th birthday here and had a wonderful time!

We stayed in this lovely, beach condo for 9 days and truly loved the accommodations. The property was exactly as posted and had every amenity you could want. Elen was a perfect host and was there for us at any moment. We met so many other guest staying there and learned some have been coming to Kihei Sands for years. I’ll miss walking the beach and those beautiful sunsets. We truly were sad to leave but can’t wait to return. Lastly, just a short walk down the beach for coffee, bakery and grocery store. A6 is a wonderful, comfortable unit on the beach. The owner Elgin answered all our questions and as outfitted the unit with everything you need for your stay. Our weather was mainly sunny, but with some high winds, it made swimming in the ocean impossible. The pool and patio very nice and being a small complex you were able to meet very friendly people staying here. You need to drive to restaurants and there is no “nightlife” in this area to enjoy. Maui is beautiful with many sights to take in and magnificent sunsets every night. Mahalo

My husband and I wanted to extend our stay on Maui after his educational seminar. This place was just what we were looking for. It is a small property (only 30 units) with the one bedroom on the ground floor and the two bedroom on the second level. We were less than a minute's walk to the pool, and another minute to the beach. You can walk to dinner and limited shopping. The kitchen had all the appliances and utensils you could ever need. There were explicit instructions on how to use the tv, shower, etc along with suggestions of places to eat, shop, and visit. We met some of the unit owners and felt welcomed into their 'community'. We will definitely stay there again!

Location was on the beach, quiet, serene. You can hear the ocean waves from the patio door. The condo was stocked so thoughtfully, she even had qtips in the medicine cabinet. It was a 5 min drive to the busy part of Kihei and close to shops and food trucks. Thanks for helping our trip so memorable.

My wife and I stayed at this property for a short period before going to a larger resort for the rest of our stay in Maui. This location is so comfortable and homey. It's right next to the beach which is super nice. The property is stocked with everything you may need. I was pleasantly surprised when I went out in the morning to watch the sunrise and I saw the property makes coffee and tea in the morning for all of the guests. Lastly, the host was so nice and flexible when I needed to shorten my stay by 1 day. I would definitely recommend staying here for your trip to Maui!

We loved staying at this condo, just steps away from the beach (great for seaglass hunting)! The condo community here is so welcoming and we loved exploring the local spots in Kihei. The host provided all the information needed and more to ensure an amazing stay on Maui!

We stayed here for 6 amazing days for our wedding anniversary. Check in was smooth. Communication with Elen was great and informative. The condo is a short drive to the area in Kihei that has all the foods and shops. You can hear the ocean waves from the lanai and the beach is only steps away. We had trouble finding parking one night but was able to get into one after waiting not too long.

We had the most amazing time at Kihei Sands unit A6. Elen was an amazing host. She gave us a welcome packet with all the information that was needed for our stay including things to do and places to go/eat. The unit was very clean and has everything you could need. The location was beautiful/perfect. It was amazing being able walk out of the unit and be right on the beach. We are hopeful to return in the future. Perfect for our honeymoon. A trip that we will always remember.

The unit was better than the pictures showed. Elen was great with communication and provided a lot of extra information on things to see and do as well as where to shop. We can't wait to go back and stay here again.

Ellen’s place was wonderful! Had everything we needed, super clean, and the location was great! She was excellent communicating with us during the aftermath of the Lahaina fire. We received the most accurate and up to date information from her so we could make the best decision about our trip. Highly recommend!!

We liked being so close to the beach. Also, it was nice to be in a small complex that wasn’t crowded. Our property manager responded quickly when there was an issue with the tv and internet, which we appreciated. My only suggestion would be that the sofa and rugs need to be cleaned. Otherwise great stay

This was a great place for a week long stay. The condo comes furnished and has most kitchen stuff you will need. Great location right on the beach, with a central spot on the island allowing you to go in either direction easily.

This place is a hidden gem. Our second time staying at this condo, which is clean, quiet and comfortable. Anything you might need is in the condo. Great location in the particular condo complex, private and away from the activity at the pool and on the patio. But just step out your door and you have coffee in the morning and a walk on the beach! Back door is easy access to the pool! We will be back!

We had the best holiday ever in Maui at Elen’s condo (A6) at Kehei sands. The place was right on the beach and had everything we needed. The location was perfect as we were only about 25 minutes from anything in either direction. Elen’s attention to detail made staying here so easy, and we plan on staying here again! The condo had every amenity we needed. I would highly recommend Elen as a host, and we can’t wait to return.

The property was perfect for me and my husband. The rental property is a little hidden oasis with a perfect outdoor area and beach access!

The location is very convenient to get anywhere on the island. The condo is just steps from a beautiful patio and pool, and a few more steps to being on a long stretch of beach. While the condo has a small kitchen, it was well equipped. We enjoyed our stay very much.

This was our first trip Hawaii and we are so pleased we chose Maui for our first island. Kihei was such a charming town and very central to all.we wanted to do and see. The Kihei Sands was so comfortable and friendly that we can't wait to return. Mahalo 🤙
