Owner, Karen, and staff (and doggies) exceptionally friendly and professional. Room had everything we needed and was very clean and comfortable. The location was perfect for our purpose...walking distance to shops and restaurants and easy Uber to airport. Would highly recommend!

I like everything about the place, it’s so homey, clean and beautiful. It’s very quiet and peaceful. I love love love it🥰🤍 definitely going back. This place is even affordable for what is offered to be honest.

The bathroom 😄 clean and they offer toiletries how generous. The bedroom the sheets are clean and the bed is so comfortable. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly as I always work from my laptop it’s so convenient.

Karen is a very friendly and helpful host. She assisted me when I struggled to get the gas heater to switch on, and she allowed me to keep my bag at the guesthouse after checking out as I had an event to go to in the morning. She also gave me the contact details of the staff so that they could assist me after hours. Margaret and Rabson were very helpful when the heater switched off unexpectedly and the gas canister needed replacing. Buyi assisted me in the morning when I had to leave my bag, and in the afternoon when I went to fetch it. The place is very clean, and I loved that there was fruit and yoghurt provided in the room along with bottled water. The bedroom is spacious and beautifully decorated. The bathroom is also very beautiful and well-stocked with bathing products. The WiFi works great and the TV needs a bit of patience but there is DSTV and I could catch up on my favourite soapie while trying to get warm. The electric blanket is a much appreciated feature. It helped me to keep warm when I was experiencing challenges with the gas heater. The dogs are so adorable and friendly. In the morning when I was about to check out, one of the dogs came to my door. It seemed like he was saying good morning. So cute.

The room was extremely cold. I know that winter in Johannesburg is typically very cold and that this is beyond the control of the host, but the gas heater being problematic made it so challenging to get comfortable because I had to wait to get assisted before I could properly settle in.

The worst owner ever - not at all accommodating should your meeting dates change - she made us pay for our accommodation - refused to change the date - and no refund! Be careful if you are a business traveller - as in many instances meetings get cancelled or moved - the worst is unlike hotels you can rebook but under the cover of booking.com She charged a 100% no show fee - She is rude- refused to answer the phone and let one of her cleaners Margret (she sounded like it because she had no clue) deal with your ‘complaints’ - She is rude and must most definitely work on her hospitality skills! Be warned!!

The set-up was so fantastic, with breakfast tea and coffee ready in the rooms to have at my leisure. The bathroom was well equipped, as was the bedroom, and the staff were wonderful.
