The location was good and the two booked rooms were right next to each other.

There was no toilet paper and the beds were quite hard. The owner tried to charge more money for the rooms every time we met him.

Lodge is located with a nice view. And it was super clean . Staff also nice . And the most valuable thing ins the super fast wifi. Overall a good place to stay with calm and chill

11. Unlike some of the posts I’ve read in other places, I found the ( lakshan view resort ) to be clean, inviting and downright classic! The staff was very friendly and consistently making sure I was comfortable. I will definitely stay there when I come back! The service was exceptional as well. Would definitely send a friend there.

It is a super beautiful area that is in no way inferior to Haputale. It is also a lot less touristy, so you can really relax. You are surrounded by nature with squirrels, You look out over a beautiful valley. Ella is about 30-45 min. The staff is more than friendly and wants to do everything they can to help you: very friendly and competent staff + room with very good size. The space and the entire area were very clean slept very, very well.

The staff were nice and provided a Landry service (albeit the most expensive I’ve encountered)

Situated on the busiest road in this town, and on an intersection, the noise level from lorries and busses sounding their horns throughout the night prevented me from sleeping well. My room was directly above a tuk tuk mechanics which was not only very noisy until late but lead to my room filling with exhaust and petroleum fumes. Thin, hard and old mattresses, very old and dirty pillows, hairs from other guitars etc. Oh and basically no WIFI signal.
