Our group of 5 had a wonderful stay in this house. It was well appointed, had all the necessary kitchen tools for meals at home and was a cozy enclave at the end of the bay. Each day we were front row to the power of the ocean meeting the river as the high tide and waves came in so did all the big massive logs. It was very exciting. The location of the home is perfect also for walks into town and also across the bridge over to the rocky areas. We enjoyed ourselves greatly and will consider this house again in the future when we return to Yachats.

We were very happy with our stay at this property. And our dogs loved walking on the beach... their first time to the ocean. Weather was fantastic while we were there so spent a lot of time on the deck enjoying the view of the river and ocean. Hope to come back next year!

We were three generations with kids, parents and grandparents. Everyone found lots to do and see. The house is well equipped for cooking in, well located for eating out and sight seeing, and stocked with games, puzzles books, TV. Couldn't have ask for more! Thank you!

This property is absolutely amazing. The views are Gorgeous! It is centrally located to the town and to beach access...a very easy walk to either. We saw all kinds of wildlife, eagles, whale spouts, swifts, heron etc. We were jokingly calling the dining room window our wildlife TV. The house has everything you would need for a gourmet meal, tons of movies and books and comfortable furniture. Would absolutely rent again!!

We enjoyed everything about the house. Although the yard is small, it is fenced, which made being there with dogs easy. The walk to the beach is short, and it is also a short walk into town for groceries and takeout meals.

My mobility-challenged mother, brother, and myself all stayed for a long weekend. The house is lovely, well cared for and clean, and the best stocked rental home I've ever stayed in. Perfect for relaxing on the deck while enjoying the beautiful sea-view, walkable to town, and great beach access. We had a wonderful time! Also, after walking up the initial front steps, my mom found getting around inside the home easy, plenty of room to navigate a walker.

it was nice to be able to walk into town, as well as across the bridge to the bigger beach. fun tide pools to explore either way you went. amazing view. had everything we needed.

We spent spring break here with our two elementary-school aged kids. We loved the access to the beach, fenced yard for our dog, zone-out space, well-equipped kitchen, and gorgeous views. My kids asked if we could buy this house and move here! Having access to the garage was great… we could unload from a wet outing and dry out gear without tromping into the house. We didn’t use the deck much, due to the weather, but I suspect the privacy is awesome when having outdoor meals. Also, because I had wondered about this, it is a short walk to the town, along a shoulder on a 25mph section of road. I was able to walk back from town on the rocks/beach at low tide. We would love to return in the summer!

This has to be the best appointed property with the best location in Yachats! It was so clean and comfortable. Great views, walking distance from everything and everything one could possibly need. I would recommend this property to anyone.

Our stay was great! We loved the quiet and lovely view of the river along with the ocean. The house was super clean, check-in and out were a breeze and all the furniture and beds were some of the most comfortable we’ve experienced in a rental home. The location is superb granted you are just a minute or so from restaurants, shops and galleries. Would stay again for sure!

This was our second time at this house, which is spectacularly located on a beautiful protected cove. We brought the three grandkids this time and they loved it and played on the beach all day. This place has everything: gorgeous views of the beach through the picture windows, river + ocean access, set away from Hwy 101, but easy access to town - literally one minute by car. There is also hiking access right from the house (the Oregon Coast trail). And Yachats has some good restaurants if you don't want to cook.

I think the pictures advertising this property actually *under* sold this beautiful home. It was a spectacular place to stay in one of the most gorgeous areas of Oregon's stunning central coast. It was far more space than we needed, but we took in the lovely layout and views. The many natural wood bowls and decor added to the earthy feel of this home.

Very convenient to the town. Beautiful sunsets. No shortage of anything you would want in a VRBO stay....fully stocked. Everyone in the party enjoyed the gathering and made for wonderful memories.

Location is great. Kinda private but good beach access. View of beach and river provides lots to take in even from the comfort of the living rooms. Highly recommended.

The property was very well kept and the beach house was fully function and very clean.We also enjoyed appreciated the lighting and the fact it was off of the main road, more secure.

My friend and I do an annual trip to the Oregon Coast and this was one of the best properties at which we've stayed. The view is simply gorgeous. My friend loves to cook and he was thrilled with the set up of the kitchen and how well it was stocked for cooking. The house is walking distance to the beach and to the main street of Yachats, even for people with limited stamina. Yachats is a great little town with a surprising number of good restaurants, considering the size. The waves at Smelt Sands are not to be missed!

We had a wonderful stay! The location is wonderful-a short walk into town and a short walk to the beach and tidal pools. The house is very comfortable and well equipped. We hope to be back again!

This was a perfect place with room for us all to have private space. Would have liked a couple of night lights though as it gets pretty dark. Loved being able to walk into Yachats or go across the bridge and walk on paved road along the coast the other direction. Easy drive to hiking trails and other places to see along the beautiful Oregon coast. Can’t think of a more perfect location even if all you do is sit and watch the ocean.
