No computer working. Credit card system not working. Asked for cash. Preferred room service but waited 2 hours. Short staffed. Small room next to eating area smells of moth balls. Our bookings weren’t in their system.

Staff is good and cooperative does all the jobs as you explained but the hotel management is not providing professional training and equipment.

Hygiene staff needs proper supervision to clean the room. Mattress and bed extremely bad condition. I heard the owner lives in Canada but it looks he doesn’t want to invest in the property.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Star Guest House. This charming, family-run business made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The owners were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, catering to every request—even those that weren't part of their usual services. Personalised care by all staff especially the owners. All requests were met and addressed. Felt like home. We were a big family group attending a convention the daily laundry service was great. Breakfast was made to order. A big thank you to Mr Nader Bhai for making our stay comfortable.

Some power disruptions were there because of the city power grid, however the generator would come on in a few minutes.

The guy at the reception in the night was very patient and helpful.

It was probably my worst ever experience. We checked in around midnight after a grand family gathering. They had a power failure in the middle of the night and only a fan was working and till 6am. Apparently they had some electricity bill payment issue (this is my understanding based on the telecon) butI am not sure of it). Usually in the Commercial area power outage is not the norm. Given the heat wave, almost all the guests were outside their rooms for a couple of hours at almost close to the dawn time and after quarrels from them, the generator was operated to run the air conditioner. We slept around 6am and the worst part was the lady at the reception who even after knowing all the hassle still called us around 11am for on time room vacation. They had only a verbal sorry but really no intent and cared only for collecting the rent with no courtesy and any hint of FEELING SORRY. She kept asking me to book for more nights without any offer to compensate for the nightmare. I still ended up paying PKR 5k for remaining awake till 6am.

Their staff is so much cooperative. They provide all the required things within a minute.

The price for the room is little bit high.Overall the room and the hotel is very good for stay but maybe prices are little bit high..
