Beautiful setting, fantastic breakfast everyday with so many options, we also had the ham and cheese platter for lunch 1 day omg god it was massive lastest 2days ! So so clean well kept pool , sun lounges for each room great idea 😊. So chilled and peaceful . The rooms are hughe clean and modern, what a fantastic place we really enjoyed our stay here and thank you to the hosts too attentive and helpful too.

The only thing is hire a car as walking was hard work hills ,hills and lots of steps unless you like walking !! My fault should off researched a bit better .

Great location close to beaches and Tropea old town, although we traveled to the old town by car. There was a walking path down the cliff to the closest beach, which is a bit of a hike to get back, but very doable. Breakfast was your typical Italian style breakfast and more, it was varied and very delicious. Staff were friendly, there is a washing machine to use and the pool was a bonus after a day out and very clean. The views from the bedroom and bathroom overlooked the water and were quite magnificent. Overall, with a car, we really enjoyed out stay here.

Borgo degli Dei is beautifully located on the coast of Parghelia, close to the beach, with a nice view to Tropea and a private praking lot. The room was cleaned daily and we had everything we needed inside. The breakfast was delicious, a mixture between local products and other italian assortments. We didn't have time to go to the pool but it was quite big and clean

Our room was in the same building with the breakfast area so when the breakfast was starting, it was becoming quite noisy and we couldn't sleep anymore. If you want to sleep after 8 am, it is better to ask for a room in another building

Amazing place. Very good contact with host. Wonderful view from the terrace over the city of Tropea. Private descent to the beach and to the sea. The water in the sea and the beach are very clean. Possibility to use the swimming pool. Very clean room with a terrace. We highly recommend! We will definitely return there!

Everything was great. Good and secure location close to the train station and private access to the beach. The city Tropea is also not so far away from there. The room was beautiful and cleaned daily, with a terrace and a view that leaves you speechless. The breakfast was complex with fresh and home-made food, it was super delicious. Alfredo and his staff are wonderful people. We enjoyed very much the entire stay and we’ll definitely come back there in the future. Thank you for all!

Wonderful place to stay. We had a room with balcony that gave us a truly spectacular view of the coast. The room was very comfortable, the breakfast terrific, and we only wished we could have stayed longer.

Beautiful and quiet property away from tourists and crowds but in close proximity to Tropea if you want sightseeings. The hotel within a 5 minute beautiful walk from the quiet beach with rocks and sand all to yourself. Alfredo, the host, was very welcoming, accommodating and attentive to our needs. So far it was the best stay and location out of the two weeks in Calabria and Sicily. The breakfast was decent with amazing view of the sea and Tropea. Down on the beach you can find a chill bar owned by a lovely people, not your usual tourist trap. further down the road you have two other beaches you can walk or drive to within minutes.

Basic room is small but you not there to stay in the room. plus you have a private terrace in front of your room with a view of the sea.

Well located for who is driving. There is parking area. However not walkable to the city centre. The room is very basic but works well.

The beach next to the apartments is incredible! It takes only 5 minutes to go there from the apartment's area Staff has plenty of umbrellas for the customers, which can be taken to the beach. Breakfast is very tasty. Room was cleaned every day. Pool is great with the amazing view on the sea. Each room has dedicated set of 2 sunbeds and umbrella next to the pool. We didn't have a car, but there was plenty of parking spots with roof. To the train station in takes 10-15 minutes by walk. To the Tropea old town it takes 30-40 minutes by walk.

Excellent staff. Close to beach. Panoramic view. Calm place, not crowded. Clean and well maintained.

I loved our beautiful deluxe room with the huge terrace overlooking the gorgeous beach. we much preferred this quiet beach to the busy beach at Tropea.

There wasn’t much choice of restaurants in Parghelia. although the ones we ate at were lovely. it was a long, hot walk to Tropea and finding taxis was very difficult. There is no taxi rank as such. you have to telephone and hope someone turns up. We had to walk back one night along the main road which wasn’t great.

Great place. We were en route to Sicily and it seemed like a good place to have a break. Lovely pool area and also close to a shingle/sand beach. Good aircon, comfy bed. Great for families (and there were several there!)

No hot water in the morning so we had cold showers. A kettle in the room would be useful. Breakfast looked good, buffet-style, but they insisted on serving everyone "due to covid". As none of the staff or customers were wearing masks this seemed a bit pointless.

The location is excellent for sunbathing and relaxation. It's not far from Tropea and just few minutes to the beach. They provide umbrellas and beach towels.

They don't have a bar on the site, we would have liked a beer or wine by the pool.

Borgo degli Dei is the perfect hotel if you are looking for a beach holiday retreat in Italy. From the pool and amazing beaches to the panoramic view of the ocean to the friendly and welcoming staff, this hotel is excellent.

You need to prepare to walk a little each day. Both to the center of Parghelia and the city of Tropea, but that is only a small trifle and worthwhile.
