We are, a family of three, stayed in Duos Portas for three nights to explore the beautiful city of Porto. The hotel has a warm atmosphere, the staff is very responsive and friendly, ready to share valuable information. The breakfast is fantastic, there is always an opportunity to make tea, coffee, treat yourself to port wine. The hotel offers free bicycles, which you can ride along the promenade. The interior of the hotel is bright and functional, fans of Alvar Aalto will surely like it. The location of the hotel is ideal to enjoy a walk along the cost and see the city sights. We will definitely stay in Duos Portas, next time we are in Porto.

Duas Portas is in a wonderful location to explore Porto. Public transport is right on your doorstep and our room had wonderful river views. The rooms were clean and well equipped. The breakfast was fantastic but best of all the staff were wonderful.

The employees helped us a lot by finding a transport of the bicycle to the airport; the breakfast was very good; the atmosphere was like staying in his own living room.

Emanuel was welcoming and did a great job helping with restaurant suggestions and other questions I had about the area! very safe and very clean!

everything was perfect!

The location is nice, though not very close to the city center. But to the beach it is really close. The breakfast was simple, but a good variaty of food was offered at the buffet table. It was efficient. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed out staying a lot.

The physical plant

it looked nice online.. but that was based on a lie

it says: river and seaview. that's nonsense. i got a room on the 1st floor looking at just a busy street and trees. i love trees, but if i choose a room for a river view i want to see water. otherwise i would have booked another hotel, right? so i asked for another room. they didnt have that. then after 3 minutes in the room (which by the way was very noisy of traffic if you opened the window..) i decided to leave but because i felt being fooled by the way the room was sold to me. the hotel refused to give me back my money because i had already checked in at arrival. (how was i supposed to know at check in that the room was not as promised..?) i went to another hotel which was perfect. i expected booking.com to help me get my money back, but all i got was many different people from customer service, some saying they would sort this, most saying the hotel would not refund.

The staff was extremely friendly, the place itself beautiful, and the bed very nice and soft. :)

The street side is a bit louder than we expected (cars), but it did not really affect our stay. We hope to come back one day.

Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We parked for free nearby and enjoyed long walks along the river in both directions.

I really liked the aesthetic of this place. It was bright, light and airy. The room was more spacious than I expected it be and the view was wonderful. Very stylish all-around and the staff was extremely nice and helpful.

super friendly and helpful owners and staff. Looks so unassuming from the outside, but golden on the inside. Lovely location, great staff, food and overall relaxed and friendly vibe. Doesn't happen often that you get to know the lovely owners in person. The complimentary bikes were the icing on the cake!

The property far exceeded our expectations. Clever Architect designed hotel, with wonderful friendly staff that gave us a connection to the Portuguese way of life . Breakfasts were fresh and perfect for the day ahead. Great location close to promenade and the use of the bikes were a real bonus as we biked 20km up the coast following the Atlantic shoreline all the way. We always walked in to Porto twice along the promenade and pathway, an hours walk but so much to see along the way. The beds were very comfortable. As you can tell from the glowing review , this hotel was perfect and such a large part of the Porto experience. We will definitely be back . Thank you .
