The property is located by the beach and provides a scenic view of the ocean. The staff at the property are excellent and make sure the stay is extremely comfortable. We had the team with Indica, Samar and Shabruddin ( our in house chef) make the trip extremely comfortable. The rooms are aesthetically done and well maintained.

We loved absolutely everything - the villa only has 5 rooms so it is quiet and relaxing, the room is beautiful and has great views over the sea and comfy bed and bathroom. The garden is pretty and has a great sea view where you can watch sea turtles and advanced surfers tackle big waves. There is a small little beach/lagoon area which is nice for a paddle. Breakfast is 3 courses and served on your balcony with view of the sea. it was one of our best breakfasts in Sri Lanka, very generous portions too. The infinity pool was a good size to swim in. The staff really went above and beyond for us, being so attentive and helpful and nice. We didn’t know anything about the area but there are loads of great places to eat and drink. We had some of our best food in Sri Lanka. It’s a very chill vibe as it’s not heavily developed and it’s away from the main road so all you hear are the waves. We aren’t surfers but still found the place amazing, if you are a surfer you should definitely stay here! We had two nights but wish we had stayed longer.

incredible location, fantastic staff and delicious meals. this was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. from the balcony in front of our room or from the pool, we watched amazing sunrises/sunsets, saw dozens of sea turtles right in front of the property and watched surfers all day long. the staff went out of their way to make our stay as perfect as possible. and the Sri Lankan breakfasts were to die for! there were lots of little restaurants and bars within walking distance as well. if you’re looking for a luxurious memorable place to stay on the Sri Lankan coast, look no further because this place is truly special.

The staff were incredible! We were very well looked after. I appreciated the fact that the menu was customised, and we were able to try several local delicacies. The manager, Charit, was accommodating and made the stay memorable. The other staff, including Indika, were very kind. The view is mesmerising, and the pool is a delight! We will be back. The owner, Nadun, was in touch with us as well. Superb stay!

This 5 bedroom villa is set just off a fantastic surf beach on the outskirts of Mirissa. The view is sensational, whether on your balcony, in the pool, sunbathing on the lawn or taking the steps down to the beach. My husband and I had an incredible stay here (3 nights). The service from the staff was next level, they made you feel incredibly welcome and well looked after. The room and bathroom were clean, tidy and spacious, with a sea view. We loved going to sleep to the sound of waves crashing. And we loved our breakfast out on the balcony every morning. It was especially tranquil, we felt so relaxed after travelling around Sri Lanka for a couple of weeks, the perfect end to our stay. I hope we'll return some day!

The location is very good. The villa is not close to the road so you will hear only the sound of ocean waves, no traffic signals or vehicle sounds. Despite it’s not in the center of Mirissa, you can get there quite fast by TukTuk. The hospitality of the staff is great. We had breakfast and dinners included, so it was comfortable for us not to think about places where to look for good food without risks. Seafood was amazing, the team is ready to heat your preferences.

Beautiful seafront location with welcoming and friendly staff. We spent three nights at this beautiful and sparking clean villa, waking each morning to a glorious sunrise, the sounds of waves lapping the shore and the most spectacular of views. It is the perfect location to relax and unwind whilst watching surfers and spotting turtles in the water. The staff are truly outstanding. They go above and beyond to make sure every stay is perfect. The food was exceptional. We were treated to fresh tuna, sea bream and perfectly cooked prawns during our stay. The fresh fruit and juices were delicious. They go to the market daily and everything is unbelievably fresh. I celebrated my birthday on the second night of our stay and the team organised balloons and a delicious birthday cake, such a wonderful gesture. If you are visiting Sri Lanka, Villa Océane should be the choice for you.

everything, the staff are very nice and friendly and will help with anything you need. the location is good for surfers of the intermediate level because the beach outside the hotel is rocky. the food at the hotel is delicious for breakfast you have an assortment of fruit, omelette and other delicacies but in my opinion their seafood platter is the best item on the menu

The journey to find the “right spot” having never been to Sri Lanka before was an adventure because you can see that there are just SO MANY hotels and it is overwhelming to try to understand which will really stand above the rest. With Villa Océane we succeeded!!! We couldn’t stop talking about how lucky we were to have picked this spot above all the others we considered. Everyone writes about hospitality in Sri Lanka, and this place has staff that will shock you by how exceptional they are. Truly, from meals to water to towels to tea time to laundry - they take care of what you are hoping for out of your vacation and more. My husband is a surfer and was so excited to see that we got the PERFECT location to walk right out to the wave. If we had chosen anywhere else we considered, it would not have been nearly as convenient. We could walk to cafes near by for lunch and had breakfast and dinner at Villa Océane which was a trip highlight since every meal was so excellent. I can’t recommend this place highly enough and we look forward to staying here again the next time we find ourselves in town.

- The 5-room hotel is located directly on the sea and within walking distance of some restaurants. Please note that the sea is rough and not suitable for swimming. Experienced surfers can go into the sea from the hotel. By tuktuk you can go to Weligama in 20 min, where there is a large swimming/beginner surfing beach. - The hotel rooms are tastefully decorated and very clean, with all the practicalities such as water, coffee/tea, fridge, safe, toiletries etc. - The staff is very friendly and helpful and we also had good food at the hotel. - The garden is not very big, but offers a beautiful sea view and has a nice pool. In short, a nice hotel to stay.

Ocean views from the room. Great food and service. Lovely pool. Very close to Mirissa - a small town with nice beaches and restaurants on the beach. We also saw baby turtles on the beach! Whale watching close by too - we saw Blue Whales! Amazing stay.

They don’t have an alcohol licence but that is not a problem as there is a shop nearby that you can buy some from and hotel are happy for you to drink whatever you purchase with your meal.

The staff were so warm and accommodating, the location was stunning and the whole vibe of this beachside villa is just wonderful.

Kind and super helpful staff, an exeptionial place with a wonderful view! We went there with a 13 months old and honestly we didn’t miss a thing. The food was just perfect. My wife is vegan, I’m a quiet picky one and is hard to please our kid, they still managed to satisfy all of us every single time. If they were out of something Charith hoped on his bike went to the market and got anything within 15 minutes, honestly the greatest Guy we met on our journey to Sri Lanka. Quiet location and you can get to most of the other beaches within 5-10 mins as you always find some Tuktuk drivers right at the First corner out of the villa. They arranged for us taxis whenever we needed, a whole safari trip with everything included,the pcr tests for the way back, there was nothing we couldn’t ask for. The room was clean and well-equipped. Someone mentioned earlier that the ocean is quiet noisy, as our baby sleeps with a white noise for us it was again just a plus. Great place to stay, we honestly didn’t find a thing to complain about.

The rooms are lovely with sea views. The location is peaceful but walkable to some restaurants and a main bar in the area The doctor's House but the other way was a great small chilled out bar, both great. They don't serve alcohol/soft drinks on the premise but will buy it in from the local shop for you no mark up :) Breakfast was served outside your room with sea views which was lovely. They offered a Sri Lankan or a continental which were big portions. The Staff were very friendly and accommodating! They helped organise a taxi for us and were generally just very helpful.

The evening menu was quite expensive but there was no pressure in staying and actually it was lovely and intimate overlooking the sea.
