The house was beautiful, overlooking the sea and the local school which was charming. The house layout was excellent although no lock on shower room door but we were family so ok. 2 nice balconies. Walk in shower with plenty of hot water. Some cooking pans but no frying pan. Nice washing machine and dishwasher. Good outside space to eat and way to communal pool.shops at end of the road. Fair parking . Garage, although our car was too big to manoeuvre into. Would definitely stay again. SW

Could have done with few more cooking pots and cooling fans as no air conditioning.

We're just back from a 2 week stay in El Médano (April/May) and had a fantastic time. The house is beautiful and spotless. It has everything you need for short and long term stays. The top balcony and main bedroom has lovely views, the 2nd bedroom has a balcony with a drying line for clothes, and the downstairs outdoor area has a table to sit/eat at and access to the underground garage. The pool is big, clean and surrounded by other apartments and gardens but has no sunloungers so we took our own chairs. It gets the sun the entire day, some days our kids were in the pool from morning until half 7 at night! Make sure to bring the kids some water socks as it can be a bit slippy around the poolside. The beach and main square is an easy 5/10 min walk away. Loads of lovely shops and very reasonably priced restaurants. Make sure to try the Mexican place! El Médano is much quieter and less touristy than surrounding towns and gives off a bit of a chilled, hippy vibe which we loved. There's a boardwalk to the end of the beach which finishes and then takes you across the beach and onto Montana Roja and the beautiful beach on the other side. Loads of windsurfers and kite surfers at the far end. You can rent boards in a few shops in town. The bus stop and supermarket is just at the end of the street with Aldi, Mercadona, Lidl, McDonald's etc a 5 min car journey away. There is a market on most days in nearby towns. The abandoned leper village is 15 mins car ride away and makes for an interesting morning. Palmetum, a botanical palm garden an hour away is beautiful and so worth a visit. Buy a twin ticket and you have access to the huge swimming pool with restaurants and free parking beside it. Tom was very helpful when sending info regarding the house. We had no issues during our stay so didn't need to contact him but it was reassuring to know there was someone nearby to help if needed.

The house is beside a school so if you're a late riser then be sure to sleep in one of the back bedrooms during term time. This wasn't a problem for us though.

Great big house , close to beach and all facilities like shop restaurant's , swimming pool very quiet. great underground car park what was very handy for use especially with busy car park out the streets. Great help from Tom 👌 Highly recommended 👍

The communication from Tom was excellent. He went to great lengths to ensure I knew how to access the property and all the related access points (ie; swimming pool, internal garage etc) with videos and photos he sent. He was friendly, super responsive and above all so helpful. The house itself is terrific: spacious, accommodating with dishwasher, clothes washer plus two outside areas with wall-mounted racks for drying. It's very secure. It also has a roof terrace which is lovely for sunbathing or catching the sunset. Fantastically, it has an internal garage which is extremely useful as often street parking is hard to find. It's located just outside of the main area but within an easy ten minute walk of the centre with restaurants on the way. It's a 3 to 5 minute walk to a major supermarket/shopping centre. Plus, you can drive there for your first major shop and don't forget to give the cashier your parking ticket as for supermarket shoppers it's free parking up to 2 hours.

Very nice house with a sunny swimming pool. The house is within a short walk from everything. The host was excellent.

WIFI could be better upstairs

This is a lovely house in a fabulous location. We didn’t meet Tom, we didn’t need to, we communicated via what’s app and everything was so easy. The house is on a residential street so very quiet. 3-4 minute easy walk into town, the main square, the beach and restaurants. The supermarket is in the next road. The bus stop is at the end of the road. We used the beach to the left, better surf and still only 5-6 minutes walk. The house was very clean and modern, the shower room is gorgeous! It has every facility, beach towels, toiletries, even dish wash tablets. The washing machine made light packing easier and we used it several times.The views are fabulous, especially first thing, from the top terrace.I would definitely recommend this place. Wi-Fi doesn’t reach to the top of the house. Although personally I think this is a good thing!

Very clean and spacious apartment. Perfect location - 3 minutes walk to big market, 5 minutes to city center and the beach. Great swimming pool. Well equipped, with everything you could need. The host was very helpful. I lost the keys to our house in the apartment and the host made the effort to help me to get it back.
