The head of the cleaning company they hire was amazing! He tried his best to help us wherever he could and even came in on a bank holiday to try and help us.
Many things - there were insects in the bathtub, the carpets were filthy, the fire alarm was beeping every 30 seconds so my baby couldn’t sleep, the radiators were hanging off the wall and the spare radiators almost caught fire (see pictures of the burnt plugs that happened while we were there). Such an unsafe property. If we hadn’t checked the radiators the apartment would have burnt down with us in it.
Also, we found out later that there had been a FIRE in the apartment they rent out next to the one we were in and they still hadn’t checked everything!!!!! Horrendous.
The whole place was a shambles and I would never book to stay here. Unsafe and dirty.

The appliances were good but that's it
Very dirty ,black mould in the bathroom ,needs a good paint everywhere, the bed was a sofa bed ,there was a stain on the carpet in front of the sofa bed and stains on the actual sofa bed ,1 of the saucepans had food stains and you could of actually peeled it out ,the chopping board was full of deep knife marks and looked like beef had been cut on there ,couldn't use it scared of catching food poisoning, would rate this place a 1 out of 10 to be honest ,also I phoned the manager and left a voice mail to call me back but never had the call back ,very disappointed overall and would not use this place ever again ,I paid 203 pounds for 3 nights and would say 35 pound a night would still be too much

Cleanliness of apartment was incredibly poor, huge marks and stains all over walls and random screws sticking out of bedroom walls, there was a dirty sock on the floor when we arrived and a squashed spider on the ceiling. Toilet was poorly cleaned with dried urine and hairs stuck to the underside of the toilet seat. Shower was broken so had to be held up by hand to take a shower and pressure was very low. Bathroom sink leaked so a puddle formed on the floor every time taps were turned on. Couldn't make use of tv as there was no batteries in the remote, clock on the wall also didn't have a working battery

Location and size where good and host was very responsive. Had all facilities needed and free parking.
Beds and pillows where so uncomfortable and bed springs where so noisy. Slight smell but aired it out with windows open.

The host is rude and very very cold towards the guest. Accessing the door was a night mare. I called the host and she answered rudely and so cold. It took about 40 minutes to figure the door opening out. She answered like we were bothering her. The apartment is not bad for the price, everything is as described.

It was booked handy enough for such a short notice booking.
It didn't seem very clean, particularly the bathroom. Stains on walls. The carpet was stained. One of the room's radiator didn't work so it was a cold winter night sleep during Storm Eunice.

Sofa bed was awful old and sunk in middle. This was the only bed.
No door on bathroom so if there was 2 you would have to see the other person sat on the loo and smell very poor. Hinges still there but no door.

The bed was really uncomfortable. I ended up sleeping on the floor. The carpet is badly stained. The Tv was next to useless, really poor quality, couldn't watch bbc 1 and many other channels as kept breaking up. Shower floor reallt slippy when wet,,

We booked this during the hottest week in July where there was a heatwave, due to the fact it said there was air conditioning and fans available. Upon entering the property, there were no AC's or fans, but only heaters that were dangerously hanging off wall hinges.
I contacted the hosts who originally spoke really nicely and said this is booking.com's fault, and would contact booking.com to amend this, and in the meantime, provide us with 3 fans the next morning and provide a discount for the trouble (it was ridiculously hot and it was like a loft apartment). They also did offer to reimburse us if we found alternate accommodation (we had kids so this was a bit of hassle, and wanted to support more independent businesses where possible). They also included features like 'garden view' etc which was definitely not the case. The apartment also looked significantly cleaner, nicer and modern in the photos, but in an all honesty, this did not bother us much.
It is the hosts duty to check their listing whether it's through a third party or not. We did receive one fan, but this was instead of 3 (for the 3 bedrooms). At the last day of the stay, the temperature cooled a bit and we enquired about extending our stay for an additional night and that perhaps we can use the discount towards that. We emailed and called but heard nothing. When it came to check out, the cleaner said we could have extra time to checkout if needed (which we utilised although we were packed). When the cleaner returned, she said the host mentioned extending our stay, so we spoke to him on her phone and he said he could reduce the rate from £120 to £60, then from £160 to £60. He asked for cash which we didn't have and then suddenly spoke so rudely and threateningly saying if for any reason a bank transfer doesn't go through, he'll be REALLY annoyed and will send people within the hour to make sure we get out and continued to speak in this manner although we spoke calmly.

I would love to give 10/10 but due to the problems at the property I can’t justify that. However… the housekeeper, the booking contact AND the owner were all absolutely amazing in trying to get an engineer to fix the problem and be flexible to our needs. We’ll definitely look to book again and hope the problems have been fixed.
Needs a little bit of tender care, radiator fell off its hinge. The shower head holder fell off so we couldn’t shower properly during our stay. Leak from the toilet base every time the toilet was used. Otherwise nothing to complain about. These were minor issues…

The apartment was big, beds were comfortable, sheets clean, the kitchen was well equipped.
The carpet staines were really big. The place needs good paint and carpet replacement and would look much much better.

The only down points are the strength of the WiFi and the parking if there are any vans in situ it's a bit tight.

Very small property with lots of tables (6) in living room. Kettle faulty and leaks. Twin mattresses cheap and thin but sofa bed was comfortable.
