We booked late and there was no choice in rooms available for our dates as it was busy, so we had the smallest room but when we book next time, we know to book the rooms with the kitchen area with more space. Lovely and clean, very professionally organised. Breakfast is available with a voucher system in the cafes in the square.

We stayed in room El Sol, and it was too small for us.

The room was very compact.

Perfect location with a great view.. super clean and designed room... breakfast was lovely down the square and the rooftop was perfect to enjoy a nice coffee.

Be careful to come by the main road (Google maps will bring you in small streets where even with a Fiat500 you might get stucked)

Amazing location (great view of the Plaza). Staff were helpful and nice . Highly recommended. Competa is such a charming town.

Spotlessly clean, great shower, wifi good, fab views of the church and plaza, compact kitchenette, air con. What's not to love? Parking an easy 5 minute walk and it was free! Defo would use again.

We like the communications with Maria such a lovely lady nothing was a problem for her the apartment was spacious and very nice decor right in Competa square breakfast was superb in the restaurant in the square all part of the price

Excellent location and value for money. Air-conditioning was a massive plus! The roof terrace was lovely in the evening when the sun was going down.

It had a horrible smell in our apartment, particularly after we had run a bath. It may have been the drains but it was not very pleasant! The mugs weren’t washed during the daily housekeeping and the coffee was only replenished on one occasion.

the rooms were bright with great bathrooms. coffee making facilities provided as was bottled water. there was also a small fridge with sodas and an honesty box system

Good size room, loved the balcony overlooking the plaza. Very clean and comfortable.

Although the room was compact it made up for size by its magnificent position in the center of the town square overlooking the church. The food and drink in the restaurants in the square were good and also a fair price. The included breakfast at any of five restaurants around the square was superb. We both really enjoyed our stay in Competa

Nothing really, we were bombarded with texts/e-mails on how to check in so no reason that you were in the dark. Silly that no mention when picking up the key at the office that the key card activated the electricity. My fault for not twigging it really. Otherwise everything nearly perfect.

I had been walking in the mountains for 4 days, it was 21:00 and my car was parked outside Salamandre, I thought that I just had to walk up to the upper floor and access my accommodation, not so I had a 450mt walk carrying my luggage up to the top of Competa, google maps sent me to the wrong hostal so the code did not work but Carlos was on the job and sorted me no problem, I will certainly stay there again.
