WIFI could have been a bit better. You definitely need a car.

We had a great stay in the garden view / terrace room. It was a bonus to discover that you can in fact see the sea from the patio, it’s just a little obstructed by a beautiful olive tree and neighboring house. Had everything we needed, seemed fully stocked for cooking (though we didn’t) and the outdoor area is truly enjoyable, even in the hot summer. Short walk to the sea with some great coves and concrete terraces for sunning after a swim.

This is simply a matter of preference, but it’s helpful to know that the apartment is in a more secluded area of Trogir. There aren’t as many options in the way of restaurants, coffee shoes, grocery stores, etc. We actually enjoyed being out of the main thoroughfare for a few days but thought it’s worth noting.

We arrived a day later than planned all with approval of the host, the first thing the lady who greeted us said was that she had been waiting for us the previous day, it wasn't our fault so really nothing needed to be said, but it kind of set the stage for the rest of our stay. Location, not really walking distance to a nice restaurant or shop, access down a sleep slope followed by about 20 steps to the apartment was very difficult. Poor and slow communication from hosts we had lots of flies in the bathroom which wasn't nice at all. No apology just a can of fly spray left. AT 8am on last day were disturbed by men with loud machinery emptying out the cess pit, probably explains the flies. Again no warning regarding the noise, smell and workmen looking in our windows! Poor directions, we followed postcode from the booking.com website which took us out of our way. Called host who was quite abrupt and made us feel a bit stupid for getting lost, we have travelled all over and never had any problems finding our accommodation. Welcome was not the friendliest when we finally arrived and information given was poor. The apartment is very dated and dark. Full of unnecessary clutter, it felt like we were staying at grannies house, far too much and too personal. No worktop space, we had to unplug and put the kettle away in order to use the toaster and vice versa. No washing machine as stated No hanging chair as pictured Make sure you pick up your groceries before you arrive. As I say getting in and out is not fun at all !

Such an amazing venue, and very nice people, everything was very clean and perfect. Everything on time. We appreciated the hospitality of the hosts.

The apartment, its view and its cleanliness. The owner of the apartment and her thoughtful welcome gifts. The location of the apartment, close to the airport but the best side of Ciovo island so you do not get the aeroplanes going over. The set up of the apartment was nice, both bedrooms with their own bathroom. The pool was a nice size too, and was shared among several other apartments, but it was never busy. Lovely decking area around the pool with many sunshades and sunloungers. We loved the terrace with the great view, sunlougers, decorations and candles. The owner provides towels for the balcony sunloungers, the swimming pool and for the bathroom, as well as teatowels and bathroom mats.

The steep hill to walk to where we had to park the car and down to the beach. You need to be fit or you need a nice spouse to pull you up like I have !
