Very Convenient location. Very quiet but close to the shops and restaurants. Pedro is an excellent host.

Beautiful garden/yard area with lots of plants and animals (cacti, doves, exotic birds, tortoises), a shared pool and lots or space to hang out and enjoy the sun. House has only 3 rooms so it was always calm. Host (who lives in the same building) was excellent, helpful and kind. Charming rooms with lots of character and a phenomenal shower. There are bikes available which make exploring the town easy and convenient.

Bed was too hard. Caution for people with cat hair allergy. There are cats on the properties.

Funky and fun. We didn’t not use the pool but it would have been welcome on a hotter day. The outdoor space was enjoyable. Pedro was lovely. The area was quiet. The nearby commercial area will be wonderful once they complete the street renovations. Pedro’s restaurant recommendation was excellent.

Some coffee pods would have been nice. The living room is a bit dark.

Pedro is an amazing Host. He really made us feel at home. He was always available and happy to meet our needs. The location is great, 3 min walk from the centre and super close to the river. We loved it!

Casa do Cactus was beautiful, hosts were very friendly and helpful as well as discreet. The garden is lovely, with turtles wandering around. Our room was beautiful and comfortable, with all needed facilities. Although the bed was a little small it was a very comfortable and friendly stay.

We spent one night, all in all about 12 hour, in a roadtrip Beautiful room within a beautiful garden. The room was small but furnished with care. Everything in the room was perfectly planned to please the eye. It's was too cold for the pool at night so we had to skip it but it looked very tempting. If this was summer we definitely would have stayed longer. We met the owner of the villa only when checking in, he was pleasant and helpful. Didn't see him much because all was very well.

The apartment was wonderfully decorated and was very clean, the garden is like a paradise with exotic birds, turtles, cats etc. Our children loved the animals, the pool and their little bedroom on the top of the room. They also played with various music instruments which were collected from all over the world. The location is great so you can walk to the center or grab a bike from Pedro without costs. Pedro is a great host. He answered all our questions and gave great tips and helped us to find our next accommodation. We highly recommend this property to everyone.

Everything was perfect.

The people who manage the property are nice, my girl loved the turtles and the cat but we found that it was a bit pricey for what it really was. The room wasn’t made everyday and the water wasn’t hot enough. Isolation between rooms is really bad but we enjoyed our stay anyway.

Simply suberb and very original accomation in a beautiful private home. Rooms include a separate dining room/kitchen, living room, double bedroom and bathroom. Your outside companions include two Siamese cats, two parrots and a cockatoo! Your host will go out of his way to please you. There is also a salt water swimming pool.

Location a fair distance from main old town.

By far one of the best places we've ever stayed. Every corner a surprise, either a gentle cat or a couple of small turtles. Very pleasant decoration and vibe, definitely a must stay.

The entire experience was perfect from arrival to departure. Pedro was the perfect host. Very welcoming, made us feel very welcome at the property. The property itself is perfect for a short break, 2-3 nights from which to explore the surrounding Vila Nova de Milfontes area. They have a lovely array of pets, 3 cats, 5 tortoises, multiple birds including the beautiful parrot called Ruka. Thank you Pedro.
