Recently renovated, clean, comfortable, good breakfast

We arrived a little early but it was no problem to check in. Greeted by very friendly and welcoming staff on reception The rooms are very clean, modern and functional with nice quality bed linens Modern, clean bathrooms with lots of toiletries and slippers. Breakfast was exceptional, we sat outside on the terrace every morning. The choice of food was to suit everyone. Delicious fresh pastries, lots of speciality cakes, you have to try the Almond dumplings and the lemon biscotti For those who prefer a savory breakfast the choice was just as good, with lots of delicious cheese, charcuterie etc. We also found it nice to have fresh fruit, cereals, and yogurt. Lots of attention to detail. Above all though I have to mention the staff. Every member of the family went out of the way to make our stay a very pleasant and memorable one. Don’t change anything, you have a winning formula Merci beaucoup

I would definitely recommend this hotel! The staff was always so nice, available, and helpful. Our room was great -- always clean. We loved the hotel breakfast. The location was also perfect -- the hotel is on the beach and there are lots of restaurants to easily walk to. And it is a short walk to the bus station, which takes you to Taormina. Great experience here!

Das charmante hotel Nautilus liegt direkt am Strand mit Blick auf catania und die bucht. Nette kleine lokale rundherum. Im hotel waren alle Mitarbeiter und Inhaber dauernd bemüht für einen entspannten Urlaub zu sorgen. Das Hotel ist modern und sehr gut ausgestattet.

Am Strand liegen viele zigarrettenkippen und einiges ist alt und in die Jahre gekommen, vor dem Nautilus geht es sogar noch. Der hotel betreiber kann da wenig machen aber für die ortstaxe würden wir es schon erwarten

Das Frühstücksbuffet und die Lage direkt am Strand waren super! Auch konnten wir das Gepäck noch den Tag über problemlos deponieren.

Leider war das Doppelbett nur 1.40 klein, was zu sehr engen Schlafverhältnissen führt (mit auch nur einer Decke). Die Zimmer waren extrem ringhörig (lauter Rückkehrlärn in den frühen Morgenstunden) und das Personal hat sich bei unhöflichem Verhalten von Gäste (lautes Facetime telefonieren während dem ganzen Morgenessen) nicht gekümmert, obwohl die übrigen Gäste dadurch deutlich gestört waren. Obwohl sowohl meine Tochter wie auch ich während des Aufenthalts unsere Geburtstage hatten, haben wir nicht einmal ein „happy birthday“ gehört…. darf zwar nicht erwartet werden aber wir haben bisher stets anderes erlebt.

Wenn man im ersten Stock ein Zimmer mit Meerblick hat kann man von der viel befahrenen Straße ins Zimmer schauen.

Hotel świetnie położony nad brzegiem morza. Obsługa bardzo miła i pomocna. Mój pokój był niestety bez okna. Klimatyzacja działała dobrze i wi-fi też. Śniadania obfite i bardzo dobre. Tuż obok hotelu przystanek autobusowy do Taorminy.

Perfecte locatie aan de zee, heerlijke badkamer, vriendelijk personeel en heel goed ontbijt. Zeer veel restaurants en bars in de buurt. Gezellige plek.

Zeer moeilijk om parkeerplaats te vinden. Gelukkig kon deze tegen betaling achter bij hotel staan.

Magnifique découverte, nous sommes venu avec ma femme pour 2 nuits dans cette établissement et vraiment pas déçu d’être venu ici. Établissement au bord de mer avec une vue imprenable, personnelle plus que sympathique et compétant d’une grande compréhension. Petit déjeuné copieux et varié, facile d’accès en voiture avec les places qu’il y a juste devant. Nous avons aussi eu la chance de rencontrer le propriétaire de l’établissement qui prend le temps de parler à ses clients et proposer son aide si besoin. Un grand merci à tout l’établissement pour ce séjour fantastique, nous ne manquerons pas de repasser si l’occasion se présente merci encore.

Hotel ist frisch renoviert. Die Zimmer sind sehr stylisch, wobei man unbedingt darauf achten sollte Zimmer zur Seeseite zu bekommen. Unser - ausgesprochen schön eingerichtetes - Zimmer hatte nur ein relativ kleines Fenster zu einem Hinterhof, so dass man wenig Lust hatte, tagsüber dort einige Zeit zu verbringen. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und gut.

Giardini Naxos ist eigentlich kein ansprechender Ort. Der Strandabschnitt vor dem Hotel ist zudem wenig attraktiv

Nothing it was perfect

The hotel was in a great location with good access to both the public and private beaches. The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. we were actually taken to our room personally, rather than told the number and floor (which we thought was a lovely touch) the owner was there every morning to say say hello and make sure all was ok with the guests. Breakfast was excellent with a varied and good selection of hot and cold savoury items and a vast selection of pastries and sweet. Coffee and juices were plentiful and all dietary requirements appeared to be catered for. There was seating both indoors and outside, which was clean and tidy at all times. Over all this hotel was spotless and we will have no problem returning in the not too distant future or recommending to friends and family

We liked everything about this property, in our opinion there is nothing to be improved on. To all the staff at the Nautilus Hotel, carry on with the excellent work and service you provide.

The hotel was modern and beautiful the view was amazing over looking the beach. Fantastic location. The staff went over and beyond to making us feel welcomed. I couldn't thank them enough

La chambre et son balcon vitré. Nous avions l’impression d’être sur la plage. Lit très confortable. Personnel très sympathique et polyglotte. Petit-déjeuner parfait et très varié. La situation est excellente. On traverse la rue et on est sur la plage. Proximité des transports publics, très utiles dans la région. Large choix de restaurants et autres commerces.

La difficulté à parquer sa voiture (par ailleurs pas très utile comme déjà dit). Davantage de possibilités de rangement, surtout dans la salle de bain serait appréciable

The location was great! Right opposite the beach and lots of surrounding restaurants, bars and shops. Great bus links to Taormina and a train station! The staff were super friendly and helpful and the breakfast was tasty! We liked the outside lounge area that was opposite the beach!

Not that we didn’t like but sometimes we felt like the only people staying there! Some of the staff/owners were sat around in the lobby which felt a little awkward but they were perfectly lovely and friendly to us!

Lovely comfortable hotel right on the seafront, definitely recommend a room with a sea view. The staff were always very friendly and were always happy to help.

The only issue was the parking which is scarce. Parking is available nearby but at a cost of 15 euros a day.

Bra og nokså variert frokost, nærme stranden, gratis utdeling av parasoll samt strandhåndkle. Kort avstand til kollektiv transport (buss) for å reise opp til Taormina.

Savnet enkelte fasiliteter, som treningsrom og basseng. Dette er et nokså lite hotell uten hverken basseng eller tilhørende solsenger på egen strand, skal man ha dette koster det ekstra. Synes hotellet utifra bildene fremstår langt mer luksuriøst og flott enn virkeligheten reflekterer. Er helt greie rom og et ellers strandard + hotell. Savnet det lille ekstra. Hotellpersonalet framstår stort sett hyggelig og serviceinnstilte, men unntak av én mannlig resepsjonist som opplevdes noe ufin og mindre behjelpelig enn andre. Området rundt hotellet er helt ok. Fungerer fint primært for stand og bad, ønsker man mer kultur og hyggelige bygater anbefales heller Taormina.
