It's a very good value for money hotel with a fully functioning kitchen which you can use free of charge.

Sometimes one staff member was too talkative when I just wanted to stay in peace. But I guess he just wanted to be nice. FYI, Tangalle has no actual normal beach for tourists to stay on. So it's not like Mirrissa or Unawatuna. There are some small areas with tanning beds belonging to restaurants but only a few. Generally, it has empty beaches to walk along, if that's what you like.

The staff Rehan and Shawn were very kind and friendly. Very close to the beach.

The hosts are the most genuinely supportive and warm people you will ever meet and show the true welcoming spirit of hospitality. In every country there are good people. greedy people, indifferent people etc but if you stay there you will experience the best of the people of Sri Lanka. Also, about 1 minute walk to beautiful beach that usually has 3 or 4 people on it at most. Great Sri Lankan cuisine and feel in your own home atmosphere.

This property was wonderful!! We were welcomed by friendly staff who were absolutely great throughout our stay! The breakfast was so delicious and such a good price. The woman made sure we had the best stay here. We even extended for one more night as we enjoyed it so much. The location was great, right by the beach!

Well located, big comfortable room, very friendly host.

A little noicy at nights. Animals are not treated very well. One of the dogs are tethered on chain the whole time, another during the day. Monkeys are kept in a cage at the back yard for no purpose at all.

The owner is very nice! And the location is awesome. Also, the bed is large and has a mosquito net which leaves you plenty of space (not that usual in Sri Lanka at that price point). The area has not many mosquitos. Also, we had a nice rooftop terrace

Wifi was unreliable (usual in Sri Lanka). mattress slightly too soft. This could be 9 points still, but we deduct 1.5 points because one of their dogs is on a very short chain and was whimpering at night, which woke us up (at some other stays, stray dogs woke us up, but that's not something hosts can control, so we don't mention it). Really unnecessary and unfortunately the owner did not really acknowledge our offline criticism. To be fair, this is probably a cultural thing, in some cultures people are not used to openly receiving negative feedback. Well, so we'll do it here, I hope this catches the full attention of the owner (you might want to respond to this)

We were looking for a quiet part of town and chose this hostel. Netu was able to do more than just host us, she actually was our cook after we’d bought two days of fish from the fishermen who come ashore 75 meters from her hostel. This was a great way to save money and even eat more healthy. All in all it was a good choice for many reasons. Thank you Netu for taking care of us.

Everything was great! spacious room with big bed and terrace, very clean room, very nice breakfast and welcoming hosts!! Also well situated near the beach, in a very quiet area! we had a great time! :)

Nice place for a family stay. Rooms are clean and equipped with fan and private bathroom. You'll also find a terrace where you can enjoy a cup of tea prepared by helpful host ♥️♥️ Welcome drink made of fresh fruits 🍹will make you fell like home. Guest house is located just 50m from lovely beaches 🏖️and nearest restaurants servings breakfasts and dinners. Laundry service is available which was quite important for us, especially as we travel with 6yr old child 😈 Highly recommended place 👍

The host and the family were very kind.There was a banana shake as a welcome drink and warm atmosphere throughout.We would recommend this little place to everyone.
