The facilities, the spaciousness and the lovely views. A very quiet and relaxing place.

Perhaps could have the bathroom light switch in the laundry so it switches on both laundry and bathroom lights together. I walked out of the bathroom into the unlit laundry and forgot the step down. An 'oops' moment but no damage done. Also it would be helpful for people to know that it is not suitable for people with limited mobility as the only access involves stairs.

Very well equipped space. Perfect for what I needed, clean and tidy and great communication from host.

Bed was super comfortable and place was very quiet, no bird song even. We had the best sleep in ages. Kitchen totally equipped with everything you could need. Large couch and great arm chair. Decor is very chic and comfortable. Fabulous shower. Lovely hosts. There are lots of extras including insect repellent for outside. We didn't get to experience the great outdoor area on the water's edge with bbq and seating cos of the weather but definitely would come back to do that.

Chromecast didn't work as no "family room" available so we bought HDMI cord the next day which we normally have with us but thought we didn't need. Parking was very tight but host very accommodating. Access was behind garage, around corner and down stairs to lock box but when you unlock door you think "wow, that was worth it!" Found the heat pump above the couch a bit noisy when watching tv but there was a large snuggly blanket so it was all good. It's under host's house so if you are big on privacy this may not be for you but they left us to it. There if we needed them else doing their own thing. So even the slight negatives were all things we could live with and we have already recommended the place to our daughter for a weekend away.

Not much. There was a perfume/deodoriser in the house which I wasn't too keen on.

Studio had everything I needed, was fantastically laid out and beautifully spacious

Beautiful clean modern unit, with lovely views, and very private which is awesome. a little far from the city but buses are very accessible and cheap and makes for a good way to view the city

The location for us was very central. It was very quiet and and relaxing to come home to after working all day, with a nice view by day and also at night with lights across to Tauranga.

The place is lovely. It’s a little secret hideaway. The studio has everything and more that you need. Spotlessly clean too. Joanne & Tim are the best hosts, they leave you be, but they are there if you need them. This is my second stay and I’ll be booking again soon. It’s perfect.

Great place to stay. The hosts are friendly, the view is stunning and it had everything we needed.

So comfortable, cosy and stylish, very central but not noisy, wonderful view. We had a much needed relaxing break, loved the shower and the room in the bathroom
