location was convenient and easy to find

the hotel looked nothing like the photos. I would not recommend you stay here. the shower door smashed and glass went all over the bathroom. we had to ask the hotel worker to help clean up the glass and he was really rude about it. they refused to let us change rooms even though they had plenty of empty space. we had to keep our shoes on in the room because we could feel glass on the floor, we couldn’t use the shower. any time we asked the guy for help he seemed really put out and annoyed the beds were incredibly hard and uncomfortable the breakfast was awful and the restaurant was not clean again, the photos here are heavily photoshopped and must be from a very long time ago.

The hotel is in a great location next to the old town. It is a very cute place with a rooftop/courtyard area outside. The owners are super helpful. They don't speak English, but they will answer any questions you need if you translate them. I mostly used wechat to communicate with them. They also helped me to book transportation to and from Jade Dragon Snow Mountain.

For the winter months, I did find my room a bit cold because not all of the windows are sealed completely, but they provided extra blankets for sleeping.

We were very happy with the hotel staff. George who speaks English was an excellent host, friendly, helpful and informative. He helped us find good restaurants and organized taxis etc. we also enjoyed drinking tea and taking about the local history.

We loved our stay here. The staff were so friendly and George was particularly helpful with all of his English help like booking trips and translating things. The hotel was clean and a convenient location. The showers were great and large enough for my very tall partner. Absolutely recommend.

The beds were a bit hard, but no harder than a standard Chinese mattress. Overall still had a great night’s sleep.

The property is located just outside the gate for the old town, which is the perfect location! The staff was very friendly, especially George; he helped us with trips around Lijiang and booking things. He speaks English so he was very helpful! The breakfast was good: some Chinese buns, noodles, fried rice, and vegetables. The hotel is gorgeous and the rooms are comfortable with a lot of space. They upgraded us into a beautiful suite!! My friend and I really enjoyed our stay here!!

Everything was superb! The location was convenient and the staff were super helpful.

The only thing that was a bit disappointing was that the shower didn’t have very hot water, nor coffee in the room. Otherwise great value for money.

The tub had hot water and shower. The beds were comfortable and the blankets were warm. My friend's room had a heating blanket and she got a suite. Mine had a humidifier which was perfect. It was very nice and we could wash our clothes on the third floor for free and dry them in her giant room. It was very close to the old city but not inside of it. The staff were very kind and tried their best. George was helpful but he doesn't stay at the hotel. The cleaning staff were good. George was great at giving his wechat and keeping us updated. Overall the people were lovely and maybe we had a miscommunication.

The breakfast had very limited choices. It was only congee and fried donuts. I am not a fan of that but I think you could pay for noodles. I only ate it once. The rooms could use better maintenance as this place could be amazing. The heater had issues in my first room and they finally moved me on my third day as saying I woke up freezing. The shower leaked water all over bathroom floor. I told them and it wasn't fixed. They originally didn't give me the right room until I showed what I had booked. If there are people on the rooftop it can get loud at night. They were kind to ask them to go into the lobby. The thing that was really upsetting was that we stayed the entire time and then they canceled our reservation. Very strange and they said it was because our name was similar to other guests.....

This is an excellent hotel with a great location right next to Lijiang Old City. George and the staff supplied great recommendations for local food and helped book a horseback riding trip. The room was big and very clean and I felt relaxed the entire time. I highly recommend!
