very comfortable stay at this pub. good location and great pub food. staff friendly and helpful.

Was bit noisy but we did know that so would not complain.

Location was perfect right in the middle of the high street. Short walk to the races or taxis stop outside of the property. 5, minute walk to Warren hill gallops to see morning exercises
Nothing really but maybe for some would be a lot of stairs to the rooms. We were informed prior to making the bookings about the loud music which didn’t affect us as we were out late anyway.

Tortuous route to bedroom. Rather noisy in evenings.

Rooms tired and shabby. Breakfast v limited, poor selection and poor quality. didn't bother with it the second day.

The restaurant was nice and the staff were very friendly.
The room we stayed in is in need of repair, it was dirty and missing the little things, bedside light, toiletries, the shower was dirty and no hot water (I wouldn’t want a shower anyway in there) toilet roll holder falling off the wall, very dark and not very welcoming room, carpet needs a good clean.

The hotel is in a really central location with a car park. the food in the pub was good.
It’s a little rough round the edges, but for the price, this isn’t a complaint by any means.

Old. Tired. Way too hot and no air con. Loud and noisy- street party until 4.15 am. Cramped. No lift.
First five minutes spent listening to excuses about what all the issues where and why we shouldn’t have used Booking.com

The check in process was fast and excellent. Friendly and informative.
Food onside reasonably priced. With 20% off for staying and eating there.
Room was very small for a double, bed kept moving. We had the kitchen extractor right outside our window, it was loud and hot. It also got switched on early. Our view was of bins etc in kitchen yard!.

The bed was very comfy so we got a great night sleep, shower was also great, food was great and staff were friendly too!
Could of done with a touch of paint in the room, but that's being picky!
