The location is just perfect, located on the turtle beach!! Staff is so kind, respectful and helpful, really loved their service. In house restaurant has a great variety of dishes to choose from.

The resort is in an awesome spot with direct back access. Our room was super clean and comfortable, and the pool was lovely and refreshing.

Only a small one, but some chlorine in the pool to get rid of the algae wouldn’t go astray.

Le bruit des clients indélicats mais c’est le problème d’Hikkaduwa et sa population. La chambre avec vue sur une terrasse commune qui nous a obligé de garder les rideaux fermés car les gens s’installaient devant notre chambre à toute heure.

My room was very dated and it smelt very bad. The door handles, lamp, soap holder, and a/c were all broken or badly damaged.

Perfect location by all means. Situated in Hikkaduwa center with many restaurants and shops around. It is right on the beach with a stunning ocean view and a really nice swimming pool. Within a short walk, to the right and left from the hotel, there are good beaches for swimming. You can't really swim in the waters right in front of the hotel as it is very rocky. But that's not a problem at all. Very helpful and kind staff members. Ready to help you when needed. Breakfast was ok and pretty much the same every day, what you could change was how you like your 2 eggs to be made. After our 10 day stay we felt like leaving our house and friends and not a hotel. This hotel has more of a private villa vibe than a hotel. It was nice. Good for families with kids, too. It's a decent 3star hotel. Nothing fancy and therefore affordable but not cheap as well.

Sometimes had to point out what has to be fixed or cleaned and it got fixed right away. Not all rooms are the same and internet doesn't work in all rooms. If possible, ask to see your room before you actually check in. I'd say stay at Delux rooms to get the best out of your stay. The bar was missing, but right next to this hotel is neighbor hotel with a bar that's open till very late. So all good.

For a little over £30 a night this place was an absolute steal. The location is great, room was always spotless and the staff are so friendly. If you’re surfing like I was, the best wave in the area is a short walk down the beach so you can leave all your stuff at the hotel and just walk there.

Dobra lokalizacja tuż przy samej plaży i 100m od plaży z zlowami. Bardzo przyjemny i duży basen, leżaki.

Pokój typu budget na parterze już bardzo stary. Widok na ścianę z szmatami do sprzątania w tle. Przez całą noc oprócz hałasu z ulicy co oczywiste słychać rozmowy ekipy obsługującej z kuchni oraz nie wiem co ale ktoś jakby walił młotkiem całą noc. Nie wiem jak sytuacja z pokojami na górze.

Нам очень понравился отдых в этом отеле. Расположение отеля просто отличное. С одной стороны самый центр Хиккадувы, рядом остановка автобусов. До самых известных кафе и ресторанов рукой подать. С другой стороны - вид на океан и внутренний двор отеля. Красивый бассейн, приятная терраса и убаюкивающий шум волн. Во-первых, большое спасибо представителям отеля за то, что заселили нас в 5 утра, при этом они заранее нам написали о том, что готовы нас заселить в момент нашего приезда. Мы приехали рано утром и нас сразу заселили в наш номер. Во-вторых, хочу отметить отличный и отзывчивый персонал. Уточняли когда именно нам удобно, чтоб была проедена уборка. Делали ее тщательно - в этом все отлично. Хочу передать спасибо сотруднику по имени Buddhika. Полотенца, постельное белье чистое и свежее. Да, не скрою, отель уставший, но это не омрачило наш отдых. Хорошие завтраки (мы брали b&b), быстрая реакция на все наши просьбы, чистый бассейн с красивым видом. Мы остались довольны.

Super vriendelijk personeel en mooi hotel. Ontbijt is heerlijk met onder andere pancakes en scrambled eggs. De eigenaar hielp ons uit de brand met het regelen van een taxi. Al met al echt top!

The pool was really nice and you can walk down onto the beach and you’re just round the corner from rock pools and the turtle point. There’s lots of nice restaurants within walking distance and plenty of tuk tuks if you want to go further a field.

There weren’t many options for breakfast so we only ate there the first morning. After that we opted to walk down the road to the restaurants over the sea which I’d recommend. We also saw two cockroaches which put us off

The Location is Just perfect for exploring Hikkaduwa - It's right at the ocean in Walking distance to all bars, Cafés, Shops or surfing schools - turtle beach Just right next to it. The room was Spacious and the AC was great. The pool was nice and the location is pretty good.

I was given a ground floor room which was very close to the reception entrance area. The room was dated and in need of some repairs (cupboard doors broken) and the view from the window was a wall. There was no safety deposit box despite the description saying there was. There were cockroaches in the bathroom and the bathroom window wouldn’t latch closed. The room was situated near to were staff seemed to be working and it was pretty noisy.

The hotel staff were extremely friendly and offered so much help! The pool was lovely and the location was perfect. The dogs were so cute and very entertaining too!

Nothing - perfect for the 2 nights we stayed

One of the most difficult things when traveling is finding pet friendly hotels. I can without any doubts say , the hotel welcomes us with our pet without any restrictions.. the deluxe suite I booked was spacious and clean . The staff is very friendly and quick with service . The food was good and value for money . I will definitely be back soon for another stay.

Prime location and affordibility are on offer at Hikka Sandy Pearl. The location is at a convenient distance from Galle, making day trips possible. I would say, the tranquility of Hikkadua is preferrable for enjoyable stays compared to Galle. In Hikkadua, the Hikka Sandy Pearl has a premium feel and is more affordable compared to other accomodations. Would definitely go back!

Suggestions for improvements include attention to details. You have to commit to the promises you make, and need to include every facility you mention on the booking papers. If you say there will be a hairdryer, you gotta keep it!
