Great location overlooking a large lake with mountains behind which is quite hard to beat. Good trip to the local village with a good English speaking guide who was friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. Kyacking on the lake was enjoyable an if only I bought a fishing rod as there are some large carp for anyone interested. Nice breakfast and room’s comfortable.

The food in the evening really needs some thought. Menu is massive and is consistently poor which is a huge shame as the rest is great. We lost a few pounds over our stay but overall we enjoyed the visit.

We enjoyed our stay! If you're looking for a place to just relax and soak in some beautiful scenery of mountains (and a lake), this is the place to be! There are many food options at the restaurant, both Asian and Western, and really loved the breakfast. One of the best parts was relaxing at the restaurant with the views. The service was exceptional. They helped us book a taxi to the town of Mai Chau and back, and always greeted with a smile. I thank Jacob for being so hospitable and friendly. We stayed in the Bungalow - it's big, clean and a lovely spot away from others so great for couples! We didn't kayak but you can for an extra fee. There are no motorbikes to rent, but they provide free bikes. Try checking out Thác Ba Khan Waterfall that's about a 20-30 minute bike ride (perhaps 10minute motorbike ride) from the hotel.

The atmosphere of this place is stunning. If you are looking for a complete isolated place to stay, this is among the best options.

Very nice hotel with a magnificent view. The personal is adorable. In particulary Quan and Chung who did their best for us. The go lao waterfall which is near from there is really beautiful and kayaking in the Binh Hoa lake is an experience to do.

Lovely rooms, lovely hidden away location. Wonderful maintained gardens, bikes available. Brilliant view over lake.

The food needs a lot of improvement. You are no where near anything else so have little choice but to eat dinner at the restaurant; they only serve large sharing plates so not ideal for two people as you have to eat the same and still end up with a lot of waste. The pool needs staff to bring drinks around, expect this is still recovering post covid.

The resort is hidden away in a tranquil location, out of town. Our room had beautiful views of the lake and we enjoyed watching boats and fishermen at work. The infinity pool was a highlight, the restaurant was excellent and the staff were helpful and polite.

Very pleasant holiday at HideAway. Staff are very friendly. Room is clean. Pool is nice. Garden is nicely landscaped. Food for dinner in the terrace is very nice.

Resturant is very hot and crowded.

The food was very over priced and they were often out of items on the menu. They charged an extra supplement for the sample menu for 2 people but it wasn't made clear on the menu or at ordering. Breakfast was pretty limited. The rooms were tiny, but very clean. For the price I would have expected nicer finishings. Parts of the shelves etc in the bathroom looked like a DIY job. The playground listed on Booking. Com was non existent. Was just a bamboo see saw and bridge.

The location and scenery where the key element for us to choose this resort and in this case we where not disapointed. It is worth to travel to this hidden location treasure due to the fantastic landscape and quite surroundings. Landscape of the resort itself is also done professionally and fits into the naural beauty of the Hoa Binh Lake area.

what especially us somewhat spoiled Europeans bothers is that in such a well designed resort accoustic sound reduction is treated so poorly. We could hear every spoken word of our neighbors and nearby pedestrians. Of course in Vietnam people are used to loudness and maybe don´t have a problem with knowing exactly what goes on next door but to have to tolerate a vietnamese gettogether next door until 11 p.m.... then to realize everybody has gone to bed because it is quite and having 5 minutes later somebody from the reception reminding us to turn down the music because there is a baby sleepting next door or close to us was too much to handle.
