The Bella Rosa was a fantastic start to our two weeks in Vietnam! Great location if you want to be in the boisterous city center - the main beer street is right out the front door! A minimal amount of noise came through our big picture window looking out onto the street but we expected that...and we were dog-tired every day so sleep came quickly! The room was very nicely sized with all you need for a mid to long stay. Staff were great, the historic center of Hanoi is fabulous and we would stay there again in a heartbeat! Special thanks for the available shower on the ground floor to clean up before our night train to Hue!

The breakfast was discontinued after Covid...but if you can't find great food at any hour in Vietnam you are actually lost and on the wrong planet! :-)

Stay in the Heart of the Action I recently had the pleasure of staying at a hotel that truly embodied the essence of being in the midst of all the excitement. Located conveniently close to the famous Beer Streets, it was an ideal choice for those who enjoy being right in the center of the action. From the moment we arrived, we were met with exceptional friendliness and helpfulness from the hotel staff. We had initially booked a room without a balcony, but to our delight, they kindly offered us a beautiful room with a balcony instead. The balcony boasted a stunning view and was incredibly spacious. I want to express my sincere gratitude for this kind gesture, as it truly enhanced our experience. The bed in the room was exceptionally comfortable, allowing for a restful night's sleep after a long day of exploring. Additionally, one aspect that we greatly appreciated was the fact that throughout our travels in Vietnam, the elevators always operated without the incessant bell sound. This was a small detail, but it made a significant difference in ensuring a peaceful evening without constantly hearing the elevator from our room. The location of the hotel was undeniably its standout feature, placing us right in the heart of the bustling city. The convenience of being so close to the lively Beer Streets was unbeatable, as it allowed us to easily immerse ourselves in the vibrant atmosphere of the area. Countless dining options, bars, and entertainment venues were just steps away from the hotel, ensuring that there was never a dull moment during our stay. The friendly and accommodating staff, the generous upgrade to a room with a balcony, and the comfortable bed all contributed to an great stay. The central location, particularly in close proximity to the lively Biers Streets, made it an ideal choice for those who thrive on being in the midst of the action. The balcony was great, the room was spacious for two people and the water pressure in the shower was good. Great location to bars and restaurants. I was concerned that being to close to the road and night clubs would keep us up but it didn't.

The window was tricky to close, no breakfast onsite, the bathroom was small and the location made it a bit hard for our transport to pick us up as they were in a bus.

Good location, just next to the beers street, yet the room is quiet. The family room at level 6, with a rooftop balcony just outside the room, is fantastic. Good powerful and hot water shower with body wash, shampoo supplied is great. Will definitely come back if I go back to Hanoi again in the future.

Prime Location. The room has a good view from balcony. Room was spacious enough with lots of storage.

Only con found in our stay was the washroom was very small and there was no space between toilet and bath. There was no space at all to use the toilet as well. Lift was small as well and there was no breakfast options.

Clean, spacious room with super comfy big bed and hot powerful shower. Staff are lovely and helpful. Great value - I highly recommend it. They also organised a taxi for us from the airport which was nice to not have to navigate in the middle of the night. Bring earplugs because it can get noisy (but everywhere in the Old Quarter is like that so can’t complain).

The airport taxi and the transport the hotel offered us to get to Ha Long Bay was more expensive than it should be (quoted around £15 when we were able to book online for around £10).

It had a lift. Though it is small but better than having to climb the stairs. Towels both face and bath towels were provided. Room didn’t smell bad. Hot water was perfect during the cold weather. Excellent customer service especially the front desk, Kelly.

There were ants in the room but the staff sorted them immediately. If you are a light sleeper, the noise from the bar street nearby might bother you a little.

great value for money - huge room with comfy bed and good facilities. lovely staff - we had an early bus so the lady at reception prepared a take out breakfast for our journey which was very kind.

Facilities were clean and beautiful and the staff, especially Kelly were very kind and extremely helpful. Kelly helped us organize taxi and a Ninh Binh tour. Even went as far as giving flowers and cake for one of our birthdays.
