We had an extremely pleasant stay looking at the view from the cottage despite the rain. Very nice rooms, large common space and super equipped kitchen, thank you for the great weekend, we hope to be back.

We have been coming to this cottage for the last few years and it’s absolutely perfect. Great location, right on the water and very open and spacious. We look forward to ur stay every fall.

I enjoyed a whole week with friends and family on beautiful Lake Huron. I got out on my stand-up paddle board (SUP) almost daily, an unexpected surprise for the winds of our Great Lakes. This property is the perfect location if you wish to do day trips to Singing Sands Beach, Fathom Five, The Gotto, Flower Pot Island, or Half-Way Log Dump and is conveniently located about 15 minutes from Tobermory. Perfect property, well-equipped cottage, and beautifully spacious for sitting indoors or outdoors in the cabana, on deck, or around the fire pit. A fire ban restricted us from having fires but did not impair our enjoyment in any way. The property is surrounded by a naturalized garden with wildflowers and the area is abundant with birds and wildlife. It was quiet, even over the weekend. Host Bryan was in touch with me the week before the rental to confirm contact details and provided all the necessary details to make this an excellent cottage vacation. Highly recommended!

Peaceful and comfortable retreat. Fully equipped with all we needed. Loved the outdoor area, a lakeside fire pit and all the chairs and picnic table. Not far from town and hiking trails. This beautiful home is in a quiet private setting. Lots of room to spread out. Beautiful views and just a short drive to Tobermory and various hikes. I would highly recommend this property.

We spent the Christmas in Bryan's cottage, it is a very clean, beautiful cottage, lots of newly updated appliances. And very spacious for a family of four. There's also Christmas themed decoration in the cottage, we loved it. Our main concern before the trip is the water and heating, but it all turned out to be not a problem at all, there's water softener installed, the well water was clean enough to drink, and the propane heating works perfect. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the cottage but there was not much activities in the area since it was winter time.

This is our fourth trip to Tobermory, we enjoyed every time. But with no hesitation, we all rated this cottage is the best. The view is gorgeous, rooms are spacious, spotless clean. Host Bryan is great! Definitely will go back to this place for our next trip.

Bryan’s place was absolutely the perfect spot to enjoy a girls weekend! It was clean, spacious and provided the perfect place to really relax and disconnect from city life. Would highly recommend this place to anyone and will absolutely be back next spring!

Spent an early fall weekend at the White Orchid cottage and we were very pleased with the stay! The place was extremely roomy and well kept. Kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils needed.It was great to wake up and see the sunrise from the back of the cottage or through the big windows. Gorgeous view!! Due to Covid we had to bring our own linen (it was communicated long before check in, so no issues). With the high efficiency washer and dryer inside the unit there is no hassle at all.Highly recommend this place!

This cottage had superseded our expectations! It is beautiful and VERY CLEAN inside and out! We could tell the cottage owner is very accommodating with how the cottage is presented. The location is also great, with the lake just steps away, the Grotto and main town a few minutes away. Bryan was also very easy to get a hold of and quick to reply. We definitely recommend renting out this cottage!

The moment we turned into the driveway and heard the sound of the gushing waves we were hooked. The house itself is an open concept, spotlessly clean and very spacious. Everyone can enjoy the place since there is lots of open space inside. Bryan is a wonderful host and was very responsive to our questions/needs. Thanks again Bryan!

Everything was great just as expected.. the only thing is that we didn’t have sheets towels or pillows .. has to be rented out as per contract( we just missed it).

We couldn’t of asked for anything more! The kids loved the cottage from the moment they saw it, huge place for us to play hide and seek! The highlight for me was the huge windows with the lake view and that you could open a window and hear the waves crash while cooking dinner. We had a great experience Bryan did an awesome job with layout very kid friendly and was easy to get ahold of if needed. We cant wait to go back!!!!!! Nothing but compliments from us

This cottage is clean and modern, all newly renovated within the last few years. It is easy to find and much closer to the water than I expected, which was a pleasant surprise! The bedrooms are lovely and the kitchen is beautiful. We had a great time and will likely book it again!

This location offers a wonderful view, a newly built home with clean and comfortable accommodations. The view is spectacular and the drive to local amenities was 30 minutes or less.

The views and outside are spectacular

The cottage is conveniently located very close to both Tobermory and the park entrance for the Blue Grotto. Fire pit is located right next to the lapping waters of Lake Huron and is almost surreal in its location and beauty of surroundings. The cottage is as represented. Each bedroom can have an assigned washroom and that is what the three couples did in a nod to respecting the pandemic.
