We had 12 family members enjoy our time in Angel Fire. The cabin was clean and beautiful. It was off a quiet road. Deer would come up to us and eat from our hands. We spent a lot of time on the big front porch. I would have liked a picnic table out by the grill. We ate our meals inside at the big dinning room table. We were looking for a cabin in Red River but came across this one. Red River was terribly busy. It was refreshing to come home to this beautiful cabin.

This is a great place to stay! There was 9 of us and a baby and there was plenty of room. It was great to enjoy the beautiful view and watch all of the wildlife!!

Awesome cabin in the woods, super short drive to grocery and ski resort, perfect sledding hill right next to driveway, best vacation ever!

This cabin was great!! Kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. However there were only 7 bath towels for a place that sleeps 12 so we had to go buy laundry soap and do towels a couple of times everyday to have enough for everyone to shower. Everything else was great!! Peaceful neighborhood with lots of deer! Would definitely rent again.

The cabin provided good sleeping accommodations for our kids and grand kids. They all enjoyed playing in the snow at the cabin. Deer came right up too the cabin for some great photos.

The cabin was lovely and only a mile from monte Verde lake. Super close to everything but still felt like you were secluded in the woods.

Beautiful home and such a peaceful location!! We loved sitting on the porch in the mornings and evenings and feeding the chipmunks! The home was a wonderful place to come back to and relax at the end of the day. Would love to come back and highly recommend!

We loved our stay here! It was a the perfect cabin for our 4 adults and 7 kids. There was plenty of sleeping room and space for us. The kids enjoyed nature hikes around the cabin. The deer wandered down around the cabin every morning. It was so beautiful. I recommend this cabin to anyone!

The rooms are really bright which is rough for little kids naps but other than that everything was perfect!!!

We had a fantastic time with our entire family. Nice place and convenient to everything. Would definitely recommend staying in this cabin. There’s plenty of room for everyone and all kitchen items werestocked.

House was not well stocked. For example, there were only 4 rolls of TP.

Perfect place! The House was nice and clean and had everything we needed! We loaded the hummingbird feeder and had many birds to watch, saw deer and elk. Definitely would love to stay here again!

The only thing was that the AC didn’t work and they didn’t leave us enough trash bags. Everything else was great.

We had a family get together here and it was great. Everyone had a wonderful time. It was so quite and peaceful. Lots of birds singing, deer in the yard every day. I am so glad we did this. I would recommend this place to everyone. I hope we can do it again some day.

Although we picked a bad snow year to take a snow fun filled vacation, we lucked out at this little cabin. In the back, the kids had a fun snow/ice hill with sleds to play on. They spent hours out there and made memories they'll never forget. Cabin is perfect for two families with 5 kiddos. If I had to say anything negative it would be that the beds & pillows need to be upgraded for the adults (kids can sleep on anything and be happy) to get a good night's sleep before hitting the slopes!

Angel Fire's Cabin in the Woods is wonderful and relaxing; there is something for every one to do. The cabin is well equipped with everything you need. I enjoyed sitting on the big porch watching deer and elk graze in the front yard. Birds and squirrels flew and ran all over the place. The cabin had plenty of utensils, dishes and cooking pans. I will probably be returning next year since this is the best rental place I have ever found. Thanks to Greg for renting his cabin. I spent most of my morning and afternoons fishing at Eagle Nest Lake. I caught some of the largest trout ever this year. We also enjoy driving the Enchanted Circle, stopping at the fish hatchery, D. H. Lawrence's ranch, the Vietnam Memorial, and shopping in Red River and Taos, where the Kit Carson museum is located.

We really enjoyed our stay at Cabin in the Woods. We were traveling with another couple and found the cabin to be well equipped and very comfortable with room to spare. We enjoyed a lot of time just sitting on the porch enjoying the cool air and the beautiful area. We will definitely stay here again when visiting Angel Fire!

Our stay was fabulous! House was very comfortable and provided everything we needed. Wildlife viewing out the windows was great! Deer passing through every morning and evening. We had 7 staying in the house, ages from 5 -62. Everyone enjoyed! Only less than positive comment is cookware needs to be replaced.

So sorry for the late posting. VRBO no longer titles the listing as "cabin in the woods". It was so snowy durming our visit that I didn't recognize the picture. We had 6 adults & 3 preschool aged children. It was large enough for children to play but just the right size to be cozy. We were able to put a gate across the bottom of the stairs & the bedroom door at the top locked. This made it extremely kid friendly for our grandson with special needs. It was our family ski weekend & the cabin was great. FYI we have a non skier in our group so 2 men went snowmobiling with Angel Fire Excursions 1 morning. They had a great time, but it was a physical workout. Those machines are more like riding dirt bikes than riding in a 4 wheeler.. We'll stay here anytime we can. Oh yes, we saw several deer more than once.

I have rented this cabin the past two years in July for a golf outing. The location is great and the cabin fits all of our needs. The cabin is clean and orderly and the decor is up to date. I plan to rent it again next summer. The only recommendation I would have is to change the bunk beds in the 3rd bedroom to a double or queen bed and a double bunk instead of 3 bunk beds.

I got up quickly and opened the curtain to see the biggest bull elk and his harem. We saw deer everyday in the yard. We particularly liked the doe and her two fawns that visited us daily. The cabin is well stocked with food and spices. There are plenty of dishes and appliances. The cabin is located back from the main road, so it is quiet. There is plenty of parking space, and it is easy to get in the cabin. We enjoyed sitting on the big porch watching the birds and squirrels. We enjoyed fishing at Monte Verde Lake and Eagle Nest Lake, where we caught a lot of fish. We took trips to Red River, Taos, and followed the Enchanted Circle for a historical journey. We really enjoyed our stay even though we had to cut our stay short two weeks because of an emergency at home. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone.

We had a wonderful visit to Angel Fire and enjoyed this cabin. It is very well located and well appointed. Great bunk room for kids! We enjoyed the hiking, zip lining, parade and fireworks. Visited Red River for the day and enjoyed that as well. Lot's to do in the Angel Fire, Red River, Toas circle.
