The check in process was not clear. We were given the door number, but not the car entry gate code nor the codes to the beach area. We were warned in an email to not set the thermostat under 72 degrees - odd when you are paying close to 5 grand/week. Platinum services can monitor your thermostat at any time. We were so hot the first couple of nights we almost threw up from heat nausea. Platinum was quick to respond, but they have a attitude. “Are you keeping the slide door open?” No we are not. “Well, that’s when we see this kind of problem!” And so on it went. They informed us the temp in the condo is 71 degrees - maybe in the living room it is! But the bedrooms were at least 90! We dealt with that for three nights until we got “permission” to lower the precious and highly delicate thermostat to 70. We still sweltered. Then the toilet in the master bedroom stopped working. They sent someone out, and on the second day and third try they fixed it. But it was a major inconvenience and they questioned what we were doing to mess it up! It is not my job to go on vacation and be calling or emailing about faulty equipment. The condo above has a large terrace and they started making loud racket at 6 a.m. - we called security, to no avail. Also the beach is “monitored” but that is also a joke. Over 30% did not wear a wrist band yet a highly zealous assoc was quick to scold the women not wearing one, yet did not enforce with drunk men. A minuscule refund was received.

Community amenities at Beachside One are improving as well, so many renovations from last year. We used the grill and grill area as well, very nice. The huge ice machine on first floor is a great plus! The beach area in front of Beach Side One was not crowded at all, even with all the renovations at Beachside Two was very crowded (maybe because it’s closer to the Sandestin beach access). Only complaint I have is the bedroom alarm clocks, housekeeping should make sure they are off, one went off at 6:00 am on the Tuesday morning then the other 6:00 am on the Wednesday morning.

This was a very nice condo. We had 4 adults and it was perfect. Beautifully decorated. Fully stocked kitchen and really great big showers. Great location for pool and beach. And golf cart was a great bonus for restaurants, grocery store and coffee.

The tiled showers in both bathroom is really what I loved most! Beds were comfy! Keurig was perfect! Seems like the owners really care and aim to ensure that all is great! Thx so much!

We have been coming to the Destin area every year for some time now. This was by far the nicest, most convenient place we have rented. Awesome views and beach access. Golf cart was an added bonus, that we used everyday. Condo was very nice, clean, user friendly. Great area! Can’t say enough about this place!

The only issues we had were small. We were told there would be patio furniture delivered during our stay so we had someone stay in the unit since all of our belongings were there. They were 4 hours late. So the day was kinda a bust. The master bedroom gets really warm compared to the rest of the unit. We had difficulty regulating that without freezing out everyone else. Overall though we had a great stay.

This was by far the cleanest place I have ever stayed at. It was a great property, check in was a breeze, quiet at night. The resort was also well kept. We enjoyed having the golf cart to use while on vacation. View of the beach from the condo were amazing!

It was a short trip to the beach for the girls. Wonderful waves, eating and shopping: We enjoyed using the golf cart and beach chairs, was a very nice to have it all.

This place was great! It is the perfect location and amazing ocean views. It literally takes maybe 5 minutes from the time you leave your room until your are on the beach in your chair! I am 8 months pregnant and we brought our 2 and 4 year old with us too so none of us are trying to walk too far lugging all our beach gear and this was just perfect! We are already looking at the calendar to see when we could come and stay at this place again!

This is our second time coming to this place. We absolutely love it. The beach is beautiful, with the white sand and turquoise waters. They just remodeled the pool area, it’s perfect to sit by and relax. They have great shops and restaurants to go to, Our only complaint is the traffic in Destin and sandestin, it takes forever to get anywhere.

We have visited Sandestin almost every year over the last ten years and this condo has been our favorite! The golf cart was our reason for booking this specific room and it held its charge great and had no issues! A golf cart is a must for us in the resort. The condo was clean, everything we used worked and had a great view! We will be renting again!

Property was excellent! Our family had a great time. The property was updated and very clean. Kitchen was well equipped and the golf cart was a nice bonus for getting around the complex.

Great rental! Clean, updated, and well decorated. Having the golf cart was a bonus! One drawback was the shutters in the master bedroom. They were beautiful but did not block light, so it’s very bright at 6 am. Made it difficult to sleep in. Other than that, we had a great trip!
