Our room was lovely. Really comfortable. Spotlessly clean. Nice touches included like milk and water in the fridge. We ate in the restaurant and the food was top notch. Same with the breakfast. We were able to check in at midday as well, the owners were really helpful in that respect as we arrived well ahead of schedule.

Wooden flooring (noise) but not avoidable

We have stayed here before. It's a beautiful old building with a modern luxurious interior. The staff are lovely the breakfast is delicious and it's in a great location.

If your room faces the road the traffic noise can be a bit noisy but not enough to keep you awake all night. It is an old building after all so wouldn't expect double glazing.

Quite a small room as we had booked a superior kingsize room it was quite cramped. We couldn’t get the safe to work but as it was for only 2 days it was not a problem.

Good location, and fun to visit the miniature village that belongs to the pub. The food was better than I expected from first sight of the menu. The scrambled eggs at breakfast is a good test of the kitchen, in this case they were excellent

We were in a room in the roof (second floor), I am 1.85 m tall, and had to sidle bent over to get around a desk when going from the bed to the bathroom and the door out. The stairs are narrow and steep, no trouble for me but could be hard for someone who is frail or unwell. It's an old building and that's what you should expect, but know whet you are booking.

Location was great !

The miniature village in back was a nice bonus . The building was old and historic but the bathrooms in the rooms were updated.

Breakfast room was beautiful as was the whole property. The bedroom was lovely and cute and had everything we needed. We were very impressed. Breakfast was delicious. Additional bonus having free entry into the miniature village.

Only two negatives - the pillows were too soft, I think they were filled with feathers. Foam would have been nicer. The other was the road noise, we slept very poorly due to the cars driving outside.

Location, old traditional building and gorgeous breakfast were good.

The floor of our room was not flat, declined a little bit. Probably it seemed that the house has been built many many years ago.

Its location near the centre of the village was great, and we had a lovely walk late evening by the river. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. The staff were very nice and efficient. We loved having access to the model village too!

I missed breakfast due to it not being available before 8:20, Not the warmest welcome, It was a very hot room even when the temperature dropped.

Location was perfect, close to everything. Something to suit everyone on the cold selection at breakfast, the cooked breakfast was tasty and again a lovely selection. Staff very knowledgeable in the restaurant and attentive to allergies. Our room was tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. Again all tastes carered for on tea tray in room.
