Great spot close to beach and pelican. No beach views from house but 1 min walk.

This home had everything we wanted and needed for our family get together. An older home but very accommodating as everyone could spread out for quiet time or meet together for meals and a friendly game of ping pong. All with an ocean view. It was lovely! The short walk to the beach was also a plus. We watched dory landings, climbed the dunes and explored tide pools. Dunes climbing being the only thing strenuous. A perfect site for much needed R and R. Would love to stay here again.

SO close to the beach. This was a huge plus for us. really large sunroom that helped out family spread out and unwind.

While the stairs into and in the house are a bit steep for some people, the location can't be beat to both the beach but also the beach front attractions.

This was the perfect place to stay with our family. The location is amazing, within an easy walk to the dune, the bakery, grocery store, burritos. The house is cute, and well-equipped with supplies. We loved using the ping pong table and the kids loved the bunk beds. Will definitely stay here again! My only feedback would be that there were quite a few spiders in the downstairs rooms, with especially menacing looking ones in the spare bedroom’s nightstand. 😬

My friend, had not been to the beach in 40 years!!!!So I immediately decided to rent a cozy ,cottage-like hideaway in Pacific City where I lived over 40 years ago.. I try to make it to the beach at least once a year and this time it was my treat. So I chose Pacific City… The hideaway location was perfect.. I walked everywhere, but my friend could only walk a block or two at the most… So she was able to get her fill of beach views from the house and just across the street..We watched surfers, kites galore, pelicans and dreamed of climbing the cape where you can easily catch a view of a whale or two …We sampled brews at Pelican Brewery, ate out a time or two.The coffee shop was walking distance and had the best quiche ….. Overall it was a great time for all of us.

WE HAD A GREAT STAY AT THIS PROPERTY - CLEAN AND UPDATED. WE GAVE IT A 5 STAR REVIEW. THE ONLY UPDATE THE OWNERS MIGHT CONSIDER IS A SHOWER DOWNSTAIRS. THE BATH TUB ISN'T VERY USABLE WHEN YOU HAVE TEENAGERS. GREAT PROPERTY

Great stay with 5 teenagers! Ping pong was a blast and the house was perfect for our group. The kitchen is very well stocked and beds were comfortable. Location is wonderful.

It was great to be so close to the beach access. The house fit our whole party comfortably & the kids loved the ping pong table. The house was super tidy, beds were cozy & linens were crisp & clean. Only complaint on cleanliness was a few salad plates had a lot of dried up food on them like they had been run through the dishwasher without having been rinsed & overlooked when put away. An awesome stay overall!

Home was clean and there was tons of space for everyone. Location is right next to the Pelican Brewery and very close walk to the beach. Home had all the essentials. We had a lot of fun and would stay there again!

We stayed with two couples and had so much room we will brings all of our kids next time. Super clean and modern design inside of a classic home right across the street from the beach. Great surf, food, and beer. Super responsive hosts. Best ever stay at the coast!

We love staying here. This is our 5th time staying at this house. The location is so close to the beach. The owners recently upgraded and remodeled many of the items in the house. I love the new furniture, appliances, paint and countertops. The kitchen is well stocked with all new dishes, pots, pans and more. The couch in the game room as a cozy place to sit and hang while people are playing ping pong. Our kid’s (11 & 7) favorite place to hangout is downstairs, it’s like it’s their own little hideout. We are already looking forward to our next trip at the beach and staying here.

Over the last five years, Scott and his family have improved this home significantly. We love the location most of all. Our kids love the bunks and the ping pong room. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Terrific location right where all the action is. Steps from Pelican Pub and coffee shop and beach. Very clean classic cabin/house. We had fun with the ping pong. And and the provided beach chairs came in handy. We would definitely rent here again

Our family had a great weekend at this property. The house was clean and well supplied. The beach and eating establishments were just steps away. Scott was quick to respond when we had a question. He made the check-in process easy. Hoping to rent it again soon.
