The cleanliness & facilities are outstanding.

The staff are unhelpful & unfriendly. From the time i checked in, one of the staff members began scolding for not standing in line. The staff members name is Justice. I then got further embarrassed because i did not bring proof of payment, apparently there was a technical issue between Suncost & bookings.com, where my payment of R4400 on the 25.02.2023 (approx) was not received by Suncoast. I was then scolded again for raising my voice, because Justice was completely ignoring me when i tried to ask which confirmation he needed... i tried asking 4 times. I was then told by an Employee that he did not want to serve me. It was embarrassing & unnecessary. Thandiwe helped me check in & allowed me to email her the proof later that afternoon. Till today, i have not received feedback or an apology from Suncoast. Maybe, Justice owns Suncoast & he has a right to treat guests like this, i am not sure. But, in terms of service_ it was very very bad. The waiters in the restaurant also are far to busy to assist. I think they are over pressurised by breakfast, lunch & supper. So much so that i had to wait for my drinks 3x and take it outside to my kids. The staff have 0 interpersonal skills. Unhelpful and they rarely smile or offer help. The staff that help with bags.... stand and watch, and chat amongst each other. On check in and check out_ i had to plead for help. I am a single Mom, with to kids and a business women. I have been to many hotels around the globe. Even though Suncoast is beautiful and such a lovely atmosphere, the staff spoil the ambience!!! My kids and i did not feel welcomed.

Comfortable accommodation. Enjoyed the meals at jeera restaurant. The slice of cake in my room as it was my birthday was so warming and felt so good.

There was some confusion wrt to payment as payment for one room was complete but not reflected on their system. I had to present my card for payment for the second room and there was a problem when a possible third payment was about to go through. Fortunately they were able to resolve with booking.com.Didnt have this issue before.

Breakfast was good.

Carpets are old and dirty

The breakfast was good, with a good choice of food and friendly staff. The hotels 'location is very good, near the major highways, going North and South.

The WIFI was interrupted periodically on Thursday evening.

terribly loud music in the reception and breakfast restaurant, very annoying!
