Two families of four in town to ski for a couple of days. Location is excellent with a great view of the slopes. Home is very spacious and worked well for us to cook, relax and enjoy the views. Garage was nice to park in and store ski gear out of the snow. Communication with owners was very quick and helpful. Highly recommend.

We had a group of six and the house was spacious! Lots of room to get away from each other if needed. View out the back was amazing and had a view of the ski runs. Hot tub was life changing after a day of skiing . Transportation to the resort was so easy and the bus stop is just up the hill. We made all our meals in the kitchen and it was fully stocked with equipment . Loved this home and the hosts were kind and communicative if needed. Would stay again and hopefully use the master tub next time! Shower was great too and all the guests enjoyed the other rooms.

The place is a great location, and Paula was very quick to communicate if I had any questions.

The house is perfect for a big family group and the views are gorgeous! We had the best time and loved every minute in WP for Christmas.

Prace was really clean and property owner were nice to deal with.. Amazing views from the deck, living room and dinning room. Would certainly book again. 10 people might be somewhat tight. Seven were there and it was perfect.

Our first time visiting Winter Park and we had a fabulous time. The property was perfect. Views of the mountain, very close abs easy to get to the resort. The house had everything we needed and more. 10 out of 10! Hosts were terrific. Very responsive to all my questions and they provided great recommendations for things to do during our stay. We’ll be back for sure.

My family and I (8 adults total) loved staying here for 3 nights. We got great use of the hottub to relax some tired muscles after skiing all day! Beds were comfy. Laundry worked. I’m really particular about my pillow though so I wish I had brought my own. If you’re good with the kind that’s like really fluffy and then flattens out once you lay on it then you’ll be good. But as a side sleeper I need something much more firm. I would ABSOLUTELY come back here!! Thanks Paula and Shawn!

Our entire family’s favorite ski home away from home. I’ve lost count of the times we’ve stayed at Yellow Dog Chalet. The property is perfect: excellent accommodations, well- designed kitchen, dining room and cozy fireplace living room area with vaulted ceilings and huge windows with amazing views of the mountains!

So enjoyed our stay here with our family, 3 adult couples and our grandpuppy. The layout was perfect and very spacious. The location couldn't have been better and the view is spectacular! The hot tube was amazing after a long day of skiing. Especially beautiful when it snowed. Paula was so accommodating and quick to respond to any of our needs and questions. We would definitely recommend this property.

Easy,easy v!

This property exceeded all of our expectations. It was our first time to come to Winter Park. It was our family of 3 and another family of 4. We all were extremely comfortable and felt at home. Shawn and Paula have all the essentials you’ll need: towels, TP, paper towels, spices, laundry detergent, dishes and more. The hot tub was perfect after a long day of skiing and the view is breathtaking. We cannot thank the hosts more for such a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back and hope that when we book this one is available.

Overall this was an amazing location and you can’t beat the view of the mountains from the large living room windows and balcony. The house was plenty big enough with room for my group of 5 adults. The kitchen had everything you need, fireplace was nice at the end of a long day in the snow too. There was a hot tub but we didn’t have time to use it, we tried to heat it up but it took about 24 hrs to heat to a temp warm enough to get in but we weren’t there long enough to enjoy that feature once it was warmed up so if you want to use it start it heating up as soon as you arrive. Also, I love the bunk beds downstairs because the beds are adult sized however the mattresses could use a foam mattress topper for comfort as both beds are very uncomfortable in that room. We would absolutely stay here again, just wanted to give some advice to make a few things better for future guests. The hosts are awesome and gave us so many ideas for things around town to do, see, and restaurants to eat at. It made our trip even more enjoyable so thank you for your hospitality and look forward to booking with you again!

This new one of our favorite stays. This property is beautiful, spacious and has everything you may need. It’s close to the slopes (ideal when skiing with kiddos). We hope to be back soon!

Hosts were amazing at communicating, view was the best (especially while soaking in the hot tub), and kids were highly entertained with all the movies, games, Wii games and more. They thought of everything!! Highly recommend!!! Thank you!!

I can't begin to tell you how much we enjoyed our July 2021 stay! Everything was just as described. From the communication during the reservation process, to the ease of checking in and everything in between, it could not have been better. We've stayed in a Lakota townhome before, but this pet friendly unit is our favorite and will be our go-to in the future. We appreciated the special dog feeding area (and the treats!) as well as the welcome gift and notes. The beds were super comfy, the kitchen was stocked better than my own and there were plenty of towels available so I didn't have to do laundry as often. I wish I was going back tomorrow!

My husband, myself, our two boys, our dog, and my parents spent 4 nights here. It was a wonderful stay, and the townhome was perfect for our vacation. My parents slept upstairs, and our family slept downstairs. The main floor separated the sleeping areas which was perfect. If we stayed up late, we didn't bother my parents, and if they were up early, they didn't bother us. We truly enjoyed our stay. We felt right at home the minute we opened the door. It was comfy and inviting. The scenery is beautiful, and the hot tub was wonderful. The owners were very responsive and great to work with. If we are ever back in Winter Park, we would stay here again.

Fantastic place. Very clean and has everything you need for a great visit to Winter Park. Easy, on-going shuttle service to base of Winter Park Resort for skiing. Views of mountains from condo are spectacular! Can’t wait to visit again.

Our family celebrated Christmas 2020 at this property. We needed a comfortable getaway after a horrible year. It was a wonderful week. We had my 2 young children, and several other adults during the week. The space was good for up to 8 people. We drove to the ski resort everyday and it took like 5 mins and we took the shuttle a few times. We cooked all week and even made Christmas cookies. The condo was well stocked and convenient to skiing and stores. It was very cleaned, just not the most organized I’ve stayed in but it had everything we needed. The view of the mountain was gorgeous in the morning and evening and the hot tub was perfect at the end of each day. The owners were very kind and responsive. Wonderful stay!

Our group consisted of 2 couples who just wanted a change of scenery. The view from the property is overlooking Winter Park and it was stunning. All the pictures were accurate. Kitchen was stocked, everything was clean! Wifi was awesome and important to us as this was a working trip for us as well as pleasure! Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home!

This place is incredible. Super comfortable and cozy. We spent a weekend away from the city and it was perfect. Check in and out was straight forward and communication with the hosts was great the entire process. Really easy to get there and the property is a few minutes away from the local restaurants and cafes. Highly recommend this place!
